The meeting between Shiho and Akai has been set-up to happen but how would it turn out?

Akemi is dead because she tried to save Shiho with a trade but unless Conan told her off panel, Shiho doesn't know this in full detail. From my understanding, Shiho only knows that Akemi tried to do something and got killed because of her by Gin. So on one side we have Shiho, who takes the blame for her sister's death while on the other we have Akai. A man who is stuck in the flow of time after learning of Akemi's death. Though we can't really confirm it, we can assume that Akemi asked Akai to save Shiho if she could not and Akai seemed to be trying to do that by figuring out the truth behind Ai Haibara but can these two individuals actually meet?(Akai seems hesitant)

One feels that her existence caused the death of the only person that cared about her(at the time) while the other feels he failed by not being there to protect the woman he loved and he possibly was the one that caused her death indirectly. So what happens if Akai accepts all the blame for Akemi's death and tells Shiho his incorrect version of what happened to her sister?
Shiho should still think Akai is only Rye, a traitor who got close to Akemi in order to get close to herself and then vanished. So if she sees the face that used her sister and that same face tells her that her sister is dead because of him, you think the current Shiho would actually forgive him?

i really hope we will see the meeting between Akai and Haibara ^^
i'm pretty sure that Akai knows Haibara =Shiho for a long time,or at least he have doubts on her... but he probably is waiting for the right moment to face her...
moreover,conan also tries to avoid Haibara from meeting Akai, since he know that Akai used Akemi(and in the same way Shiho) to slip into BO members...

so,if by any chance,haibara discovers that Akai is in reality Moroboshi dai,her sister's boyfriend,she will understand he probably has a link with her sister's death...and i think she will be really mad at Akai,and also at conan(for not telling her the truth)...
you remember how she reacted when conan couldn't save her sister...imagine how angry and sad she'll be if she knows that a FBI member was the cause of Akemi's death if i was her i would slap Akai and not forgive him...

I think she will be very pissed and want to kill him but then she will think about Conan because she knows he probably will never forgive her for that.

Ai and Akai's reunion is something I'm so eager to see. He obviously knows a lot of things about her, yet she knows nothing about him. If Akemi is really dead (yes, I still have my doubts about that), I bet Goushou would make them end up together. And even though I'm an AiCon fan, I believe Akai would be a better person for Ai than Conan could ever be for Ai (or even for Ran). ^^

Wow, I actually didn't think of this possibility. That would complicate things as at the moment Ai has full faith in Conan(shown by going along with Conan's Okiya plan) but it would be broken if she finds out the secret Conan has been keeping from her. I don't see a situation(doesn't mean it doesn't exist) where Conan could justify keeping all that information pertaining to her sister to himself in Ai's eyes(especially now that Akai is "dead"). I'm going to have to bring Ran and Heiji into this because it would be like Heiji's first entrance. Where Heiji correctly deduced that Shinichi was watching Ran periodically and opened a possibility that Shinichi decided to play decision maker by choosing to watch Ran from afar(which Shinichi lied himself out of) without letting her know and this possibility was very devastating for Ran.

Now imagine that for Ai and Conan, would this actually create a conflict in their relationship(......don't assume that to mean a pairing relationship) where Ai would revert back to Sherry when it came to Conan?
Because really, how can she trust him when he is showing a pattern that he doesn't see the point to keep everyone in the loop at all times, even when a situation is about them. She already acknowledged Conan's loner hero problem in the Missing Watch(this is how DTCP Manga has is labeled) and alluded that it will lead him into loneliness.

, I actually pictured Ai slapping Shu first. She would have to jump or trick him to kneel down but anyway, that encounter now seems easier to the Ai-Conan encounter you opened my eyes too. Like you said, the worst thing that can happen with Ai and Shu is that she never forgives him but Shu was never anyone important to her, from what we know at the moment.

I just picture this being a hurtful blow like when she saw Conan figure out a case that was extremely harder than her sister's. To me, she numbed the pain by telling herself that no one could of saved Akemi and mocked Conan through out her first appearance with the look of "you are just only playing a pretend hero...and it will catch up to you". But then, when Conan showed that he was actually capable of saving her sister, it was like her world shattered, the mask came off, and the only thing she could think of is why he didn't do the same for her sister.
We never saw the resolution of that scene, so it's possible Conan told her in detail(I doubt it) or more likely just accepted the entire blame on himself. Only difference for this is Ai knows that she can't blame Conan for what happened to her sister, he had no obligation to save her but this scenario it's a bit different.

After seeing her like she was that day and the mood swings she gets, I think she would think it was Conan's obligation to tell her what he knows about Akai. It could possibility blow up in his face if Akai ever does tell her and she finds out Conan knew the whole time.

That would complicate things as at the moment Ai has full faith in Conan(shown by going along with Conan's Okiya plan) but it would be broken if she finds out the secret Conan has been keeping from her. I don't see a situation(doesn't mean it doesn't exist) where Conan could justify keeping all that information pertaining to her sister to himself in Ai's eyes(especially now that Akai is "dead"). I'm going to have to bring Ran and Heiji into this because it would be like Heiji's first entrance. Where Heiji correctly deduced that Shinichi was watching Ran periodically and opened a possibility that Shinichi decided to play decision maker by choosing to watch Ran from afar(which Shinichi lied himself out of) without letting her know and this possibility was very devastating for Ran.

Now imagine that for Ai and Conan, would this actually create a conflict in their relationship(......don't assume that to mean a pairing relationship) where Ai would revert back to Sherry when it came to Conan?
Because really, how can she trust him when he is showing a pattern that he doesn't see the point to keep everyone in the loop at all times, even when a situation is about them. She already acknowledged Conan's loner hero problem in the Missing Watch(this is how DTCP Manga has is labeled) and alluded that it will lead him into loneliness.

you remember how she reacted when conan couldn't save her sister...imagine how angry and sad she'll be if she knows that a FBI member was the cause of Akemi's death if i was her i would slap Akai and not forgive him...

anyway,i would love to see Shiho slapping Shuichi  (i know i'm a sadist) because that's what an angry woman would do... XD it would be interesting^^ and then Akai would do everything to be forgiven by Haibara,and protect her from the BO...^^

aww,if only Gosho couuld stop giving us unecessary files,and focus on BO files...there's so many things we still don't know....

, I actually pictured Ai slapping Shu first. She would have to jump or trick him to kneel down but anyway, that encounter now seems easier to the Ai-Conan encounter you opened my eyes too. Like you said, the worst thing that can happen with Ai and Shu is that she never forgives him but Shu was never anyone important to her, from what we know at the moment.

It would probably make Shu become her visible knight in shining armor(instead of the one in the shadows) in order to fulfill Akemi's wishes.

i'm glad you like my theory...^^ i also have a feeling that she won't trust the FBI if she knows the truth(cause Camel also is responsible)...but it's just a thought...
i would love to see Haibara mad at conan also,just to know how he'll handle that situationand make him realise how important is Haibara

When Akemi died, Akai didn't go back to Jodie. I'm not saying no more love for poor Akai(Although now that I read what I wrote it kinda looks like that,sorry ), I'm saying don't try to revive these pairing cause it won't happen.
