What are you currently reading?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

Just finished reading Life of Pi and now I really, really want to see the movie, even if I'm pretty sure the end of the island section will give me nightmares until the end of forever.

Now I'm reading a book called Night of the Living Trekkie, which is about a zombie outbreak at a Star Trek convention. It's very witty and creepy in equal measures.

Biology of the Invertebrates, Foundations of Statistical Analysis for the Health Sciences...
School related books all the way O_O
No time for non-academic books... but Mark of Athena is on my waiting to be read list :)
(I'm a fan of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series, but I was so preoccupied with other things when Mark of Athena was released last year.... (school, anime and manga. YEAH.))

The Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor, sequel to Daughter of Smoke and Bone

And I finally finished The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King yesterday.  It's only taken forever!

Laura in the city of Saints
It's compulsory for school. I found the beggining very boring, but now O'm starting to like it, because of the rivalry between the two main females, Laura falling gin love with a man when she's already married(although she doesn't love her husband) and trying to avoid falling into the temptation...
And it all occurs in a city the Mayor of which is a relatiive of mine!!

I recently read Joyce Carol Oates' The Rise of Life on Earth. It was a depressing read. I just learned about her a few days ago. Well, now, I'm with Charles Dickens' Hard Times.

I am planning on re-reading all of Agatha Christie soon. I completed my collection over two years ago and didnt touch it since then, in hopes that i would forget the plotty stuff so that i could FULLY enjoy it again. Cuz the only drawback in reading mysteries is the low re-read value for short intervals, and something like A.C's novels arent easy to forget. ~Wish me luck.~
