Today's Bad Stories !

Just when I thought I was feeling better, I tried getting up and getting a half-decent lunch. Cue chucking up a sandwich for far longer than it took to eat the damn thing.

The rain was so heavy it tried to eviscerate my car's engine and I was majorly flipping out, but after stopping under a bridge for a few minutes I managed to drive all the way home without the engine acting up again.

Yesterday, somebody from the examination office emailed me that there's one last certificate (for an exam) missing - it's absolutely needed for me to get my Bachelor's degree. I can't even exactly say I remember which exam it was. Stupid and unorganized as I am, it's not even completely impossible I FORGOT to take that exam.
Is it really possible for me to forget something in a way stupid enough to ruin everything I did the last four years? I so much don't like that thought.
Leaving now to find out what happened... >.<

Person: Hello I'm (something/someone) is this (mom's name) talking?
Me: ... .. No!
Person: When will she be home?
Me: After 17 DX EVERY day except mondays, wednesdays and weekends
Person: Then I'll call some other time

Then they call again at the same stupid time or at the days I'm telling them that she's not coming home And we say the exact same thing every single time I'm tired of it!

Then they call again at the same stupid time or at the days I'm telling them that she's not coming home And we say the exact same thing every single time I'm tired of it!

Just make a note with these people's numbers, and stop answering the phone if it's them.
Or, if you have multiple phones, make them connect to different phone numbers
(We have one number for my phone, one for my brother's, one for my mother's, and pone for all)

Was pretty happy coz’ tomorrow’s the due date for the English and English Literature project so I was happy that it was over with, and that the Biology project was the only outstanding one left.^^

Then I recalled that in the past week, we received 1) Philosophy project, 2) Math project, 3) Geography project. Add this to the Biology one and you get four projects. It’s not even at net loss. Grr. Not to mention it’s all due after the short one week break. No way we’re getting any rest. D:

On another note, for the English project it was a biography, and my friend said “ look, one day when we grow up, children or grandchildren will interview us for their school project and you’ll complain about life in school and make them make school then like some military training institute or some warzone.â€

So just when I thought I was gonna get through this bout of flu without any night fevers, I woke up at half two in the morning to find that the wall was covered in eyes, staring at me and chatting to each other. When I told them to piss off, they unfolded their wings, caught fire and flew around until they disintegrated into ash, which just kinda floated around for a bit and then drained down the plughole in the middle of the floor. Then I got such a thumping headache that I thought my ears had turned into boombox speakers, and started tapping on my forehead in morse code to tell the little disc jockey inside to turn it down so that he wouldn't wake up my flatmates. (Apparently I know morse code when I'm feverish. Wish I could remember it the rest of the time.) I also kept having the throw my duvet in the air because it was hugging me too tightly, and every time it came down it had a different pattern on it.

It was a bit trippy.

I doubt that even work. Not to mention that if someone is ill-mannered enough to put a racist bumper sticker on our car twice in the same parking lot then it wouldn't surprise me if they busted in the back window to steal anything that oppose such a bumper sticker. Before you ask: yes the parking lot has security cameras but it didn't cover the area the car was parked in.

EDIT: Holy sh*t! We now know who likely put it on our car and it is not good news at all! It was likely a friend of my uncle's who is a total nutcase and is potentially very dangerous.

My (first) paycheck that I got the other day was for about half the amount of money I thought I was supposed to be getting paid a month. I talked to people until I figured out that I had misunderstood the pay scale e-mail I'd gotten when I'd signed on for the job and will be making about a third what I had thought and planned for this semester.

It's not a dire situation, as it will (barely) cover my expenses, but it is pretty depressing. And as if I didn't feel stupid enough, my parents told the story to the entire birthday dinner gathering we were at, and all my parents' friends laughed at the stupid kid who thought maybe she'd have some money to spend on something besides gas and bills before July. I don't want to be a drama queen, because they didn't have any ill intentions, but I feel kind of sick to my stomach after that experience.

Uh, yeah!  I'd be pretty annoyed about that as well.

Maybe the people who write the checks are confused and they'll fix their error before your next paycheck.
