No. Because it's not Ayumi who's often in danger, it's the Detective Boys (Ayumi + Genta + Mitsuhiko). Both 3 are trouble-makers, not just Ayumi. But they're kids, it's understandable. While Ran isn't, yet she's always the one to be saved in the movies (and even in the episodes).

Disregarding the movies, we all know its those 'Ran needs to be saved' scenes that secretly keep the movies going , she isn't always the one to be saved right? She sometimes does but most of times doesn't she beat up the criminal?

1. I already know that "damsel" refers to one girl, since it came from French "demoiselle" or "mademoiselle" which means a young lady or a non-married woman's honorific. No need to teach me that.

I'm not discussing if the Ran's DID moments are the ones which keep the movies going or not; I'm discussing the fact that Ran is the most to be put in those situation.

Ok, I've been looking through the whole list again.
I combined some reasons which were very similar; but I left others which were similar but still had something different.
Remember guys that we're making a list of the reasons why we love Ai. We're not collecting info about her.
So here's the new list. If you want something changed or if you notice that a reason is actually just an info (I wasn't quite sure about the white panties reason and about the "Shi" in "Shiho" and "Shinichi" reason - so I just left them), please let me know about it so I take it off.
