It wasn't the title, it's just the case I only read few and (almost) only up-to-date topics (and I wasn't very actice in my first days). Therefore the likeliness of me reading it was low anyway.Schillok wrote:
Actually, it was already discussed. ::) http://forums.dctp.ws/viewtopic.php?p=46281#p46281
Well, maybe the title of that thread scared you away. :D
Bye the way, as I said in that thread: If Ran was a pawn Conan would win too. But... Ran as the 'a'-row pawn? This is the worst pawn in the whole game...
A Pawn? Oh, yes, I forgot the possibility of Kg8 a4! and thought only of a3. *hits himself*
Yes, an a-pawn is a really sad thing, even compared to an h-pawn (sometimes moved after a Small Castling).
Even in case Ai is the Queen (for whatever reason *peeps to the AiCons*) Ran should still be a rook (karate!) or - better - the King side bishop.
True...sstimson wrote: You are right that if it is Heiji turn the game is a draw, but
It could be conan turn and I will explain how. Heiji move as likely to move his king in to the corner. He can only how to draw and That is his best move. He hopes that conan will move the king is not the likely queen (Ran). The move before this one was likely Conan checking Heiji.
Conan best move now would be to move his queen to the row of Heiji's king and Mate him.
I forgot this possibility as well *hits himself harder*
Although it would be very disrespectful of Heiji to try that - he should give up in that case.
Anyway, this case is unlikely because of the look on Heiji's face (what's he pondering about?) and because Conan is not paying attention to the game (very unlikely if it's your turn).
