To me, the disguising stuff in DC isn't realistic and logical.wrd wrote:We had vermouth blushing too while disguised as Azusa...it really depends as you said.MeiTanteixX wrote: it depends really...in the end, that argument only works if Gosho intends to use it. How about sweating... I don't think we had disguised people sweating before...wrd wrote:We had vermouth blushing too while disguised as Azusa...it really depends as you said.MeiTanteixX wrote: it depends really...in the end, that argument only works if Gosho intends to use it. Wow this case started out amazing so far are you serious? The fate of the village's future is literally standing on Heiji's shoulders. I also find it funny that Conan wouldn't go there if Yamamura was there and the part that the village chief seems like he'd actually steal the gold since he made them buy their own train tickets and tries to save on hiring and all that was funny. The village chief stuff was unintentionally hilarious...
What the archaeologist mentioned about the soil suddenly becoming very loose after the landslide seems very interesting. Probably need to take a note of that.

Talking about stealing, wouldn't it be funny if this Lupin looking reporter guy was really a thief... I think the whole cast is rotten to the core right now, we'll see... I'm willing to bet he's the mysterious person who's been feeding the dog from that reaction the dog had. He may have lied about disliking dogs. Or maybe he resembles the landslide victim.
And lastly.. Heiji... I really want this to go somewhere but next year is more than likely going to be an importan year for Heiji so idk. I don't think I'm seeing the places that surpass the Big Ben in this chapter. All I'm seeing are ruins of a building lmao.. That chief is quite something.... And I've noticed that Ran has been getting alot of these important scenes right now. She's actually figuring out stuff herself, getting involved in them and it all not having to do with just Shinichi.

Anyway I'm really interested to see that excavation site for some reason. This is structually giving me that 20 year old murder intent vibe hot damn... Probably one of the best single chapters in a while. So many things going on.

I guess I didn't express it clearly in my last post, but I still see it possible that since the man is foreigner and didn't know much japanese, he might know the word "inu" but not knowing how to write japanese wrote it with english letters as an english-speaking person would pronounce it: "enu" maybe with his left hand since he was injured, which could be reas as nue, due to the letters u and n being almost a mirror image. To me it clearly looks english writing more than japanese.

The problem with that is that the " u " would have that little line that comes downmiukuhina wrote:I guess I didn't express it clearly in my last post, but I still see it possible that since the man is foreigner and didn't know much japanese, he might know the word "inu" but not knowing how to write japanese wrote it with english letters as an english-speaking person would pronounce it: "enu" maybe with his left hand since he was injured, which could be reas as nue, due to the letters u and n being almost a mirror image. in the same way that the " n " has that little line that goes up
but the " u " on the page doesn't have that.
see the example below

I hope that I can find someway to contribute to the community even if it's just random crack theories and looking things up for people who can't find the information they need.

That is correct.MoonRaven wrote:Spoiler:

I'm more confident the n is actually a h, indicating that the slide wasn't an accident.jimmy_kud0_tv2 wrote:The problem with that is that the " u " would have that little line that comes downmiukuhina wrote:I guess I didn't express it clearly in my last post, but I still see it possible that since the man is foreigner and didn't know much japanese, he might know the word "inu" but not knowing how to write japanese wrote it with english letters as an english-speaking person would pronounce it: "enu" maybe with his left hand since he was injured, which could be reas as nue, due to the letters u and n being almost a mirror image. Then, the dog remembers the writer, so he's probably the son of the dead miner, looking for revenge. And the mayor or the archeologist are the more prospective victims, due to their ages.

Spoiler:
I'm also betting the dog knows that reporter and he has another reason for coming there
Heiji wanted a scenery better than the Big Ben when he asked that man, so he might plan to confess to Kazuha. I just hope he doesn't pull another "trusted follower" pun or something like the other timesJesse Sravya wrote:My guess is that it's going to be heijiXkazuha confession, or something about police department . The latter seems interesting
Also, reading the chapter again I find it funny that Conan first thinks about what police inspector will be there. Like you didn't even left home yet and you're counting on a murder case to happen?
Everyone seems connected or has something to hide, so it will happen. It all depends on who was the one that died in the past and how accidental was his death(which usually isn't accidental)
