It says a lot about what I've been up to lately that when you said you were from Denmark, my first thought was this guy:
I just got addicted to that webcomic. The notes for each comic have taught me a lot of interesting things about the Scandinavian region... The power base of the nation has since shifted to England, and, especially given what Margaret Thatcher did with that power in the Eighties, a lot of people want Scotland to be independent. Aside from Whisky, Tartan and Bagpipes, Scotland is also big on tablet (kind of like fudge with extra sugar), Ceilidhs (communal dancing, lots of spinning until you build up escape velocity, great fun XD) and complaining about how cold and rainy it is and being supremely freaked out when it's not cold and rainy XDXD We're fun, really!
... but don't ever call us English. EVER.
