My expectations for Christmas eps are usually quite low (partly 'cause of the cheesiness), but this one seems pretty interesting enough

That is a very good episode to start with, especially if you are very particular in chronology. But, in my experience of converting people into Whovians (xD), some people find it confusing and they get scared after watching it. So, I make them watch Blink first, which is quite ordinary compared to the other Doctor Who (new series) episodes, and then begin with Rose. Another reason why I show Blink first is because of the Weeping Angels.mangaluva wrote: Start with the new series; the first episode, "Rose", introduces Christopher Eccleston as the new Doctor and sets off the new series. There have been six seasons of the new series so far, and three Doctors.
