Re: Mom's Day
I love them all, but I had to vote for Yukiko.
She's just too awesome, one of my favorite DC characters.
And I wanna be just like her when I turn 37, with or without kids.

Anyway I chose Yukiko. But I absolutely love all the moms so much it was hard to say. But Yukiko was always most interesting to me!

Beside the fact that she left her husband and her daughter. Eri is the best ^^

Re: Mom's Day
Well... the criteria for being the best mommy is not really specified. I assumed it is about raising and caring for their children and voted Shizuha.
Yukiko comes 2nd, because she is around when needed, but appearing once every 100 episodes isn't a quality trait for a mother.
And in the caring category Eri fails big time! She values her own well-being more than her daughter's, otherwise she would pull the stick out of her derrière and go back to Kogoro and Ran.
If it was about who is the greatest character of them, then Yukiko would win. Funny and adventurous, I would love to have a mother or aunt like her.

Re: Mom's Day
Either that or take her d^^n child WITH her to a more financially laid-back environment in which it would be easier for her to study, Conan wouldn't be getting hit upside the head millions of times over (although not living in a detective agency would defeat the purpose of living with Ran, but I'd imagine bodies would still drop dead around him and he'd still get cases with Eri being a lawyer. Look at the episode in court!), Ran wouldn't be the certified "mother" of the house, she wouldn't have to work her butt off picking up cans and things and so on.Divin wrote: And in the caring category Eri fails big time! Re: Mom's Day
I sorta thought it was Ran's decision to stay living with Kogorou, something like her staying 'cause of Shinichi is something Aoyama would come up with, right?

But her mother still lives in basically the same place, right? I don't think her house is that far away- is it?Stopwatch wrote: I sorta thought it was Ran's decision to stay living with Kogorou, something like her staying 'cause of Shinichi is something Aoyama would come up with, right?

Re: Mom's Day
I'm not sure, but considering Shinichi was about 7 or something (in Eri's first case they said about that) I doubt they could travel far to see each other everyday, plus... I'm not sure if anywhere states where she lives (?) and it's got to be far enough away that Kogorou and Eri don't just keep on bumping into each other everywhere...IHKF wrote:But her mother still lives in basically the same place, right?
