how comes she's hardly in the manga or anime? just mentioned one or twice and never seen? and yet we see her father occasionally. that's what i wanna know. i didn't think she had one till i read a passing mention in volume 66 (i'm so happy for my new birthday present)

so at the very least she's not dead.

sure and in volume 66, the omamori case. outside the dojo he said her mother asked him to take her some water. and in movie 7 she said she came with her mother and some relatives to kyoto
