Yes. Those are episodes 12.5 and 25. ;D
Sherlock Holmes - When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?

Conan Edogawa - A Detective who uses his deductive powers  to corner a suspect and then does nothing to stop that suspect from committing suicide...is NO better than a murderer himself.

Durarara episode 25 is up, subbed, by Mazui

http://mazuisubs.com/145

cheers

Spoiler:
It's kinda meh - they really overplayed the comedy, and I thought there would be at least some sort of concrete plot advancement, and not enough celty.  But seeing shizou and izaya fight was pretty sick, even though a little over the top - especially izaya's skills 0_0

I loved it, I had wished to see more of kida and more advancement with him but that is the only plot advancement I knew I could expect from this episode. I loved the new charcters though they where hilarious also I agree with your celty and izaya coments

I dunno the whole anri and mikado thing was too shoujo for me to handle, and Shizou's brother was really getting on my nerves with his acting skills (even though I know he's not really like that, but still).

Everything just seemed a bit too stereotypical Japanese anime, if you catch my drift.

I just really want a season 2, they have the material...if not, freakin license the books over!

^ It all depends on the DVD sales, really. If the DVDs sell well enough, then there will be a 2nd season. If not, then... we'll see.

Spoiler:
Even though episode 25 wasn't as amazing as the rest of the series, watching this just reminds me of how amazing this series is, and like ranger had said, there was definitely NOT ENOUGH of Celty. Her role was so minimal!!! And honestly, I'm not into Shizuo's brother's over-the-top acting either. And the Valentine couple thing and Izaya's sisters were just, I don't know, strange. But for me, it was fun seeing Kida appearing again since I really like him. Oh, and I totally agree with Shinra saying that him and Celty are the best couple.

Imagine an anime with immortal 1930s mobs.

Now imagine a series twice as long and better despite (I think) not having immortal 1930s mobs.

Hahaha yes, there are times when you won't exactly know what's going on Durarara, but in Baccano it's just "WTF I DONT UNDERSTAND"

yeah the first episode was really confusing..which is really as far as I got.

But on the topic of DRRR, does anyone know whats the deal with the manga?  Last update was Chapter 13 by some random translation group, and it's been like 3-4 months and there still hasn't been a new chapter up...

It kind of started at a slow pace for me but as the show progressed, I ultimately loved the complexity of the storyline and how the series of events, or rather, everything was connected together. I found all of the characters likable too. I love the show a lot.

Very much recommended.

I really hated how Izaya doesn't get his comeuppance. And everyone's like "oh that obvious main villian, he so silly".
