Sherlock Holmes - When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?
Conan Edogawa - A Detective who uses his deductive powers to corner a suspect and then does nothing to stop that suspect from committing suicide...is NO better than a murderer himself.

Re: Durarara!!
I loved it, I had wished to see more of kida and more advancement with him but that is the only plot advancement I knew I could expect from this episode. I loved the new charcters though they where hilarious also I agree with your celty and izaya coments

Re: Durarara!!
I dunno the whole anri and mikado thing was too shoujo for me to handle, and Shizou's brother was really getting on my nerves with his acting skills (even though I know he's not really like that, but still).
Everything just seemed a bit too stereotypical Japanese anime, if you catch my drift.
I just really want a season 2, they have the material...if not, freakin license the books over!

^ It all depends on the DVD sales, really. If the DVDs sell well enough, then there will be a 2nd season. If not, then... we'll see.

Now imagine a series twice as long and better despite (I think) not having immortal 1930s mobs.

But on the topic of DRRR, does anyone know whats the deal with the manga? Last update was Chapter 13 by some random translation group, and it's been like 3-4 months and there still hasn't been a new chapter up...

Re: Durarara!!
It kind of started at a slow pace for me but as the show progressed, I ultimately loved the complexity of the storyline and how the series of events, or rather, everything was connected together. I found all of the characters likable too. I love the show a lot.
Very much recommended.

Re: Durarara!!
I really hated how Izaya doesn't get his comeuppance. And everyone's like "oh that obvious main villian, he so silly".
