Clearly she stopped after that one time on the bus. If she still wanted to she could have gone downstairs during the night and knife open her throat. Also, what's up with all this hate about the bus scene? The last person in the world she wants to meet is sitting in front of her and was well aware of who she was. Now she has no time to straighten out her thoughts and already has an empty life. Why is it weird she'd try killing herself?

actually, that's another annoying point of Haibara's suicides: she's too emo to even go through with them. It seems like the only way she tries to kill herself (even to the anime writers in movie 4) is to engage in "passive" suicides, where she doesn't so much kill herself as get herself killed, which is by far the whiniest way to try to suicide.

I don't really have a problem with Haibara now that she seems to have stopped that, but that made me want to slap her when she was doing it, yes.

shiniest way to suicide? Are you 8 or something? Like I said that was after spending a bus ride with the last person in the world she'd want to meet, and had no time to collect thoughts. Also I think because it's a show you people are desensitized by the concept of suicide, her family is dead, her life is nothing but being a robot to make a horrible drug, and now she has to worry about anything she may have gained. She has done amazing for someone in her situatin since her only real attempt was very situational, it's unreal how well she coped with her life. Also, using movies as an example for character being annoying is a pointles example.

And considering her background making her suicidal, she tried killing herself with the APTX earlier, and ran to Shinichi afterwards, I wouldn't be surprised if she was subconsciously wishing that he's save her again rather than actually dying in the bus as well. First of all:

That's a weird choice,considering that Ai has much more fans than Ran XDDDD
Really,there must be ALL the caracters of DC,not only those on that list...believe me,many of the"nice" characters are annoying...



Secondly,I don't know why many people are shocked by Haibara's suicide attempt,and are calling her "emo".  Emo means emotionnal,most of the girls in DC are "emo"in that case XDDD

anyway, Ai was suicidal in the past,that's also what made her very realistic...
Btw,she only tried to suicide once,in the bus,it's not as if she wanted absolutely to kill herself (or else she wouldn't have the courage to flee from the BO...)
seriously,everybody already thought about suicide,at least once. I'm not saying it's a good thing,but it's a human characteristic.
in the case of Ai,it was understandable...(after making an horrible drug,loosing all her family,having an organization who wants to kill her)...I've seen many suicides for less valid reasons than that...

anyway,I think it's less annoying than seeing girls crying for stupid reasons... now when I read DC I feel like I'm reading a shojo manga...
