It's painfully obvious, after reading the translation, that those two are Inspectors Yamato Kansuke and Uehara Yui. The fact Agasa even references Yamato's scar nails it down. Not to mention Uehara's keen detective skills. Those two are good at their job, unlike many other detectives in the series. It was these two who figured out the killer in the Sengoku case from that clue about the blue eye shadow.mysterygirl wrote: I wonder what they're going to do at...
Spoiler:
I, personally, would be amazed if this case lasts three chapters. This stands a better chance of being two chapters and lead to another case. I seriously doubt that Yamato and Uehara would go all that way to see Kogoro just to chat. Odds are they need something that they can only get going face to face. Though Yamato already knows Conan is the strength of that group. If they brought luggage means they might be staying in the area for a while.
I don't think they are playing a prank on those Agasa and Haibara. I think it's a misunderstanding. There is really nothing to say that the blood they found is human. Watch it's something like fish or eel, something edible and wouldn't matter if it died on the way. The fact they brought it with them probably makes it a local specialty. Something you can't get in Tokyo. Otherwise what is the point of bringing it. (Also possible that the blood was from a past suspect they transported, but since the blood still seems wet I'm thinking this is more recent.)
I'm not so sure that those holes are from bullets. The fact there is one mark on the driver seat and two on the passengers side door. I think those marks are probably from Yamato's cane. Since it damaged the seat they probably moved it to the trunk. I noticed it seemed to be missing. At first I thought he might of recovered enough to walk without it, or he may need it for the rest of his life. I don't know the extent of his injuries.
I'm really happy these two are back. I was really hoping these two would reappear at some point.
This chapter just reaffirms that Okiya isn't a member of the BO. The fact Conan suggested they have Okiya pick him up helps with that. Conan would never put Haibara at risk. Just remember the extents that Conan went to before to keep Haibara away from Jodie when he just suspected her. Like during the Bus Hijacking, Conan smeared his blood on her leg just to get her out of the area.
I think that if Conan is so sure he knows who Okiya isn't makes me believe that he knows just who he really is.
The same goes for Ran. Conan forgot to even mention that Okiya was there. If Okiya was dangerous there is no way he would of let Ran walk into something dangerous.
