***RELEASE - AUGUST, 17th***
And here we are, August, 17th is upon us and therefore an all new and (literally) explosive chapter is as well. Due to my sudden illness the last few days (5 to be exact), I hadn't had the chance to write more, so it'll only be one for today but since I'm getting better again and I'm feeling well by now (let's hope this stays that way
), I will start to release more chapters very soon, promised.
But for today's release:
My writing style improved again, I'd say, what's your opinion on that? So, this chapter is the first in a row where the whole content of all the previous chapters is about to be making sense. You'll get to see some men from behind the curtains (including more about James Black), international affairs and so on.
Additional facts: If you include the two words 'Chapter 32' in your counting, this chapter is 980 words long
(in words: nine hundred and eighty words!) and is therefore the longest in history in here, I think. Next, I'm using Yen as currency in this chapter, so I'm giving you a heads-up and tell you what it is like in U.S. Dollars: 60 million Yen = ~700,000 $ and 900 million Yen = ~10.5 million $.
Okay, I have to cut this here short. So, with no further unnecessary writing, here's the new chapter:
[tt]ONLINE READER (08-17-10):[/tt]
ime’s running out’, the man, whose entire body was hidden in the shadows of the dark-lightened room, whispered with a low and old sounding voice, not hiding his British accent. A small pause followed his words until he spoke again and crushed the built-up silence. ‘And I’m tired of listening to your excuses, Damian. Yes, you may have killed this, what was his name again, Sikaln? But you didn’t get the answers out of him.' He took another pause before he let his voice sound up again. This time, he sounded more angry than tired. ‘I paid you 900 million Yen and what do you give me for them? A lonely ‘I’m sorry’? I’m sorry, because that isn’t an acceptable term of repayment.' With his hand he signalized one of his men guarding the entrance to come here. His hand didn’t look anything like a hand but what did he care. This man certainly was old, why was he surprised by the look of his hand? The man who did came from the entrance suddenly stood behind him and pressed the cold feeling barrel of a 46 Magnum against his head. ‘Hey, stop that, old man. You can’t do that. It wasn’t my fault he didn’t talk.' Absolute silence drifted through the room, from one edge to the other. Slowly, the armchair turned around and Damian got a look at the old man sitting in it. The man was in his late 80s and his red eyes showed the illness he suffered from. The doctors he consulted the last months didn’t even give him one more month to live. At least, not even four complete weeks. His face was a compilation of wrinkles and warts. ‘Not your mistake? Oh, son, I know.' Damian breathed out, a little bit relieved. ‘Moreover, it was your failure! And on failure, a good old gentleman from Britain knows only one answer, erasing the reason of the failure.' He faced his man quietly standing behind Damian and nodded. ‘Kill him.' ‘NO! You can’t do that, no, please, nooooo…' His yell was still echoing in the room even after the assassin or bodyguard or whoever he was, had pulled the trigger, or so it seemed. Damian’s dead body was laying face down on the floor, releasing blood all over the handmade cotton carpet made in the ancient Japan which decorated the office. The carpet was worth about 60 million Yen these days but the old man mustn’t worry about it, he was rich, damn rich. ‘Get his body away and then leave me alone for some time, I have to think what to do next…'At exactly the same time, approximately 7.5 miles away…
Takagi rushed into the scene. ‘Inspector Megure! Is everything alright? Are you okay? I just heard about the explosion and that you were injured in it. Police radio is running hot by now. So, are you…' Megure quickly raised his hand and stopped Takagi from going on. ‘It’s okay, Takagi, I’m alright. Well, as of now.' ‘Thank God. Sato, Chiba and Shiratori will be so pleased to hear that you’re okay. But what the hell happened here? This is, was, a police headquarter, not a trainings camp for terrorists. Do we know more about who did that and why so?' ‘I’m afraid not’, a new voice answered and by turning their heads around they noticed a tall man wearing sunglasses making his way towards them. ‘But where are my manners? I’m Special Agent Curton from Internal Affairs Division Worldwide, CIA,' the man introduced himself. And now, Kid recognized the voice of the agent. He had heard it not very long ago, on the roof where a CIA operative killed Agent Nalters. The killer then spoke to him on the phone. It has been this Agent Curton. He got a bad feeling about what all would be coming up… Then, the moment came. Agent Curton faced him and offered him his hand. He shake it, hoping his normal clothes he had changed in just a short while ago, a pair of blue jeans and a black shirt with the letters F.B.I., how ironically, would save him from the discovery of him being Kaito Kid who happened to watch Curton killing Nalters. It did, at least for now, but how long would it still do?
----------Again at exactly the same time and again some few more miles away…

James Black was ready to go. Even some criminal mastermind leading an unknown underground organization who operates worldwide for the highest bidders had to live his cover. Killings, assassinations, bombings, terrorism. That all was just a little part of the possibilities they offered, and did for the right prize. They had no name but whoever was desperate enough for their services got them. They knew, sometimes even before their own clients, that they could provide the services that were needed. Good, it was an advantage for them that they had much influence on the inventors of the globally the widest spread search machine on the Internet but it wasn’t all what spoke for them. 100% success and a great customer service, they even offered them a money-payback if they failed to solve their clients’ problems. But then, due to the help of this little boy, Conan Edogawa, they came across the existence of another underground organization here in Japan, called the ‘Black Organization’. They would have to eliminate this grouping first if they were to be the only ones. And so did his cover came into the game: James Black, director of the F.B.I. It was a perfect cover, no one knew the truth about him and that was his best chance they, he ever had on destroying the counter organization. And it was about damn time…

Okay, that's it for now, I'm hoping I can release more soon, we'll find out. Until then, enjoy (re-)reading the chapters and please comment (!), thx.
