Detective Tommy sure can make people laugh, though. Facepalming is the same as laughing, no?

- There can be various hints/riddles given out by the GM. This can contain true and false hints. It can be about lovers in the game or who was the murderer etc. There can be hints in the dream or with the PMing of actions too.
- Every player can PM a "Will" to the GM. It can be a letter, a tape or just a item that you'll drop. This Will will be shown in case you're lynched. You can also tell the GM the way you want to die (in case you prefer to burn instead of being hanged etc.)
- The BO can leave a tape/video after each murder. A tape could also be from the GM and not the BO. Thus it can have true clues or false clues.
- The GM has the last decision. In case a will or tape is giving out too much info, then it can be changed by the GM accordingly.

If it's a video it's from the B.O.
If it's a letter or an item it's from the player.
If it's a tape it could be from the B.O. or the player.

I thought so too, but then I remembered that Laurell was trying to be a mystery novelist, so...conia wrote: I thought the note was 100% from Kleene
it probably is from Kleene anyway. I don't think Laurell would know she'd be leaving anyway.Abs. wrote:I thought so too, but then I remembered that Laurell was trying to be a mystery novelist, so...conia wrote: I thought the note was 100% from Kleene

Um did little DB suddenly become a policeman? I'm confused. But anyway if you are able to arrest, you could instead investigate the stealing you outlined above. So for example:Akonyl wrote:Also, I'm about to go to sleep and as of yet I haven't really devised any plan to determine whether he's Kid or not, as if I asked for an item stealing, the BO could have Akemi do it and act like Kid. Currently, my best reason for him not being Kid is that he dismissed any chance of Tommy being James Black, rather than saying Tommy could be Vermouth-Black (unless I missed this).
So basically, if Tommy is claiming Black, and Rye is still claiming black, then the only course of action I can see would be to attempt to arrest Tommy under the charge of him disguising as Black, and having Eri bust him out later if it turned out he was Kid, but the he'd just be auto-arrested. So, who knows.
I deduce from this that conia had the Night 1 dream Akonyl had the Night 2 dream... But I have no idea what it means.Akonyl wrote: There is also the curious note of Conia and his dreams. If Conia is a townie, I see little reason for him to hide the night 1 dream and PM it to select people before revealing it in the thread, instead of just revealing it immediately, and leaving out the exact town roles. And being that him and James Rye seem connected, this adds a bit more to my suspicion of Rye.
by "the only course of action I can see", I mean that whoever the policeman is out there could do it. We do know there's a policeperson out there somewhere in the game, after all.Abs. wrote:Um did little DB suddenly become a policeman? I'm confused. Tommy steals from Akonyl.
Akonyl investigate Tommy stealing from Akonyl.
Akonyl investigate (Schillok) stealing from Akonyl.
Akonyl investigate (Kleene) stealing from Akonyl.
You would receive a notification if you were stolen from (so not black suitcase stealing), and you would have a moderate chance of catching Akemi if he does turn out to be B.O.
And if you announce your intentions in this thread, if there is a real Kid out there that is not Tommy he won't try to steal from you(But Akemi will have to.)

Well yeah, unless the police person got lucky with the two other investigations. Or if there's still some other investigation-capable people out there that can cover other Akemi candidates. (But if you haven't found even one of them yet, it's gonna take a while to figure out if you can trust them, or they you. Just sayin'.)Akonyl wrote: The problem with the investigating thing is even if I found the policeman and partnered with them, I have no way of knowing that the "Kid" isn't actually just Akemi.
No. It will be true. Otherwise the "Balck Suitcase" wouldn't work either, because it's considered "being tricked" too.Abs. wrote:Wait Kleene, what?Kleene Onigiri wrote: Since if you get tricked/intimidated, you don't get results, but if someone investigated you it will still come out as true (even tho it was tricked/intimidated)
So if Laurell investigated if Schillok killed Beastly.
Kleene tricked Laurell.
nomemory investigated if Laurell investigated Schillok.
nomemory --> Laurell investigated Schillok (true)
I was under the impression that it would be false.

The "where is my D" doesn't have to mean it's my note. If laurell left that note instead of me, then he could have made the "D" too. But I simply forgot to add it.Abs. wrote:I thought so too, but then I remembered that Laurell was trying to be a mystery novelist, so...conia wrote: I thought the note was 100% from Kleene
You know what... Never mind. I think Kleene admitted as much with the "where is my D" and "sorry for the mistakes." But I guess I would still like it clarified.
Nooo did you just contradict yourself?Kleene Onigiri wrote:No. It will be true. So if Laurell investigated if Schillok killed Beastly.
Kleene tricked Laurell.
nomemory investigated if Laurell investigated Schillok.
nomemory --> Laurell investigated Schillok (true)
I was under the impression that it would be false.
So if it would be the was you described it:
Kleene Onigiri (BO), Schillok (Megure)
Kleene Onigiri uses Black suitcase: Investigate 5:
"Beastly killed nomemory" (no results because of black suitcase)
Schillok investigates: Kleene Onigiri investigated beastly (true, because it's a fake investigation)
Schillok to Kleene: "So, what results did you get with investigation?"
Kleene: "I was tricked, so I didn't get any results"
Schillok: "What? but if you got tricked, then I shouldn't have gotten a "true" response! You're BO with black suitcase!"
Kleene: "erm... damn..."
See what I mean? :p Of course the BO could try to guess the right answer. Or investigate something they know anyway. But that's not the point from the black suitcase. And always being tricked is suspicious too.
