Your name isn't .xpon, but xpon. And if a sentence starts with the word xpon, I'll follow the rules of English grammar and capitalize it. Xpon will hopefully be able to understand this. And consider yourself lucky that we're talking in English - in German every noun is capitalized. Always and everywhere, without exception.xpon wrote: .xpon

Yes, in Germany the People always have to capitalize the Nouns, no Exceptions.ShiraKiryuu wrote:It's really like that in Germany?Callid wrote:Your name isn't .xpon, but xpon. Exactly. A german Text would consequently look like this, with every single Noun capitalized, while the word "i" and certain Adjectives like "german" aren't capitalized. However, this is only true when they are used as an Adjective. If they are used as a Noun, like in "a German", they are capitalized. Also, if a Verb is substantivized, like "the Killed", it is also capitalized.ProfParanoia wrote:Yes, in Germany the People always have to capitalize the Nouns, no Exceptions.ShiraKiryuu wrote:It's really like that in Germany?Callid wrote:Your name isn't .xpon, but xpon. No. Only the beginning of a word is capitalized (Duh), and nouns are a specific type of words. Basically those who can be preceded by "the" or "a", like (the) heaven, (the) food, (a) man, (a) dog etc.xpon wrote: @Callid.

I never cared much about using my grammar.. Just type whatever you have in your mind, and one of these days you'd be a native speaker..xpon wrote: I get it from Callid post..
