Shōnen Sunday Preview, courtesy of Holmes:
Spoiler:
"On the cover, there are Conan, Sera and Mary.
Something unusual happens at a party to which Conan, Ran, Sonoko and Sera have been invited."
Summary courtesy of Baka:
Spoiler:
"Mid-way through the meal, a dead body at the next table
Conan & Sera turn around
Afterwards, there's really a shot/scene of Mary just like on the cover, making tea while on the phone with Sera
there's news: looks like she's digging further into the truth about Conan this chapter."
No break next week—we can expect 1,048 spoiler info around this time next week.
UPDATE:
Additional details, courtesy of Baka:
Spoiler:
"Conan has an irritated throat and can't properly speak. When he was about to take a pill for the irritation, he realized he was reusing the case he carried the antidote with. Looking at Conan and seeing the contents of the case, Sera asks him, 'What’s that blue-white pill?'
On the phone, later, Mary tells Masumi that someone made her swallow a capsule, taking advantage of her lowered guard—she seems to have been attacked at Vauxhall Bridge in London (which is the bridge that directly leads away from MI6 HQ)—she describes the capsule as red and white. Thus, she says Conan's is different from the one she was forced to swallow. She describes the attacker with a generic word, 'yatsu,' which can mean either gender."
UPDATE (#2):
More details, courtesy of Baka:
Spoiler:
"Conan isn't at home because Kogoro is at a meeting with the neighborhood association, and Ran says she didn't want to leave him alone.
Sera has a feeling that Conan's lacking in vitality today—Ran said that Conan ate some very strong spicy stuff, so he has stomatitis and can't properly speak. She reminds him to take his medicine. When he was gonna take pill for that, he reminds himself/confirms that he didn't use one of the pills he got during the school trip—he's been saving it secretly.
Mary is telling Sera to, if possible, steal the antidote.
There's a terrifying phrase on the victim's forehead: 'Punishment from Heaven'".

There are several important aspects that I would like to discuss. Rest assured I'll also provide the necessary images for better understanding.
1) The Victim was killed due to food allergy .
The marks on under his eyes and on his nose proves allergy.
2) He used Fluorescent Spectacles.
3) The projector stopped working just after the victim fell down, this created a total pitch black darkness, which helped the miscreant write the letter on the victim's forehead. The miscreant used the glowing glasses as a reference frame.
4) The manager guy just got off the table before the victim started showing discomfort and his mobile beeped. There are apps available online to control projectors by using smartphones. This could have been used, while the beep was just the connectivity confirmation
So these are my observations.

Yumi: Please believe me!
Sonoko: Sera-chan, please do something!
Sera: Even if you tell me that...
Sera: A call...
Sera: From Mama!
Sera: Yes?
Mary: How is it? Do you think you can get the medicine?
Sera: No, there's been a poisoning incident at the shop where the party's held...
Sera: So it's not the time for that!
Sera: I'll contact you again later...
Mary: Poison...
Page 14:
Mary: Poisoning, huh...
[A few months ago...]
Mary: Oh...
Mary: You're late, aren't you...
Mary: Tsutomu-san...
Tsutomu: My bad, Mary...
Tsutomu: It's been so long, I couldn't remember well the usual meeting spot...
Page 15:
Tsutomu: I completely forgot that it was the Vauxhall Bridge's guard rail...
Tsutomu: Right in front of the SIS headquarters...
Mary: And? Did you find out who the culprit who killed Haneda Kouji?
Tsutomu: No, I didn't grasp anything except the fact that it's a really big organization...
Tsutomu: They set their eyes on me, so i desperately ran away, you see...
Mary: Then, why is it that you didn't contact me for several years?
Tsutomu: I told you when we met before on that uproarious road, didn't I?
Tsutomu: That when I was escaping from them, I got seriously injured on my head and was wandering in the streets with amnesia for a long time...
Tsutomu: Because I got reunited with you, my memories finally returned and it seems like i'll be able to come back to the MI6 in one year...
Tsutomu: That aside, did you come to London with our sons?
Mary: No... With our daughter...
Tsutomu: Our daughter?
Mary: Oh... you still forgot about the daughter you held up in your own arms...
Tsutomu: Aah... That kid... Did she grow up?
Tsutomu: What's the matter, Mary?
Tsutomu: Why are you crying...
Page 16:
Mary: When I parted with Tsutomu-san, my daughter was still in my womb...

Vermouth: I am a woman who will now...
Vermouth: Poison you with this drug...

Oh, so it was Vermouth who did the poisoning attack on Mary... big surprise since i always thought it was RUM who did it
Anyways, Mary must be hit on the head to believe that Tsutomu would meet her in the country that he told her was UNsafe... so from the spoiled conversation between them this also confirms that Tsutomu was also a MI6.... Hmm... for a MI6 to say that England would be unsafe... could there be a mole in MI6 from the B.O. as well?

Well, once again Vermouth surprises us!
I'm calculating that Tsutsumo is dead, therefore Mary's reaction and Vermouth's envolvement. She wanted to get rid of Mary as well, before they could get to the truth of Haneda Kouji's death.
I'm actually very happy with all these latest chapters, bringing in flashbacks.
Maybe in the next chapters, somehow, Conan will meet Mary face to face? It is about time, since I think Mary can trust him a little bit and he already understood her message of «sister of another domain».
1,049 spoiler pics are now out (albeit in very low quality due to their size).

Spoiler:
"Cover page is Mary and Vermouth face to face.
4 pages flashback again.
Vermouth feeds Mary the drug with her mouth directly. Mary then jumps into the river due to the instantaneous effect of the drug.
After Mary shrunk, she goes back to Sera, which connects to the flashback we saw in Chapter 1025.
Resolution next file!"

That's certainly a possibility... but I also wouldn't be surprised if another twist comes later on—that while Mary now believes Tsutomu is truly dead (indeed, due to Vermouth's impersonation), he's actually still alive.

Its very possible for that plot-twist to happen.
One of the things that intrigues me is: Usually Black Org. can clearly 'clean up' crime scenes or make it seem as if it were accidents... and Shuichi until now doesn't has anything on his father disappearance or death. Not even one case connected to it, the man just vanished.
So if Gosho can pull up a card like that and bring Tsutsumo, I woulnd't be surprised. Though, I'd rather have him killed to add some drama!
I just read 1048, and had to log in to leave a comment for the first time in years.
Spoiler:
I feel like it's kinda impossible to know Detective Conan's actual timeline since it's been going on so long and *technically* has enough events to span years in-story, but I'm super-curious about the timing of Vermouth and Mary's meeting. Vermouth is one of the only people who knows about the potential shrinking effects of the APTX-4869. We've only seen bits of the victim list, but Mary's name isn't on it. It included Haneda Kouji before his introduction but after Shukichi appeared, which let people make the connection back then, so it wouldn't have been too odd to show Mary's name on it. Even if not her full name, a random English given name on there would be enough to get speculation going among more observant fans/readers.
If they met after Vermouth learned about Conan, then that means she knew it might have a chance of failing. Maybe she was ordered to use it specifically, but I feel like the BO wouldn't go that far. Vermouth has a lot of trust from the boss, I think he'd let her choose how to handle it on the assumption she'd know to be discreet. So using a drug that she knows is faulty sticks out to me.
It's been hinted in the past that she doesn't really care for the Black Organization anymore and is waiting for it to fall, so I'm wondering if she may have intentionally given the drug to Mary as a gamble that she would be turned into a child. If it did, that would be at least one more ally for Conan. If it killed her, then Vermouth's job is done, no skin off her back. It feels like the sort of thing she'd do, it's not a direct action against the BO but it could ultimately benefit Conan.
...Also, the amnesia excuse was just ridiculously thin. Amnesia doesn't usually work like that, especially as long as she claimed, and the few cases that ARE like that usually lead to some degree of media attention since it's so rare. Vermouth had plenty of time between arranging the meeting and actually meeting Mary to come up with a better excuse, like being afraid to reach out until he physically saw her again because of suspicion of them being watched. As a writer, that excuse is just so cliche and weak it makes me want to groan.
I feel like Vermouth made it low-effort because she wanted Mary to be suspicious and find a way to see through the disguise. Maybe to bring the other BO mooks out of hiding so Vermouth could keep track of them, or force the confrontation to happen next to the river instead of moving to a more secluded location. Heck, maybe she actually WAS ordered to use the drug, and wanted to make sure they wouldn't feel a need to recover the body in case she DID shrink and thus expose Shinichi's situation. Since Mary apparently goes into the river right after being force-fed the drug, she'd be just as likely to drown before it killed her, so they wouldn't need to worry about people finding her death overly suspicious if the body turned up.
well... left this question out in the prior post soooo... if Vermouth was the one who fed Mary the APTX drug instead of RUM then why would RUM who just recently gone active be interested in doing some check on Shinichi Kudo? Since according to the APTX victim list he should have been dead, and considering that it was the trustworthy B.O. member, Gin, who did the job feeding him the drug then there should not be any reason for RUM to raise any suspicion over Shinichi's death and order Bourbon to do an investigation on him? And what is up with Rumi's smirking smile when she saw Shinichi's name on the APTX victim list? Why is she so interested in Shinichi and Conan?
"one should stick with one's original plan" (初志貫徹 shoshi kantetsu)
To answer Blackmoon's question, I can think of a scenario.
If Rum colluded with Vermouth to poison Mary i.e. the only adult who can be traced back to Tsutomu Akai.
So Rum finds it to be of paramount importance if Tsutomu's associate has any chance to be alive.
Hence Rum's interest in Shinichi.
Does anyone else think the suspects of this case loosely resemble the Rum suspects? We have chef, a large man with large features and a girl with glasses. The fourth suspect I can't quite place as similar to anyone, but maybe the resolution of this case might foreshadow the resolution of who Rum is

Vermouth: That's right...
Vermouth: I am not Akai Tsutomu...
Vermouth: I am the woman...
Vermouth: Who is about to poison you with this drug...
Vermouth: MI6 operative...
Vermouth: Mary Akai.
Vermouth: At last, I caught you...
Vermouth: I was loitering around this town since long ago, you know?
Vermouth: With the face of your husband...
Mary: I see... You had our coworkers witness this disguise...
Mary: In order to lure me out to this country, you had to make sure I would come to confirm whether you were the real one...
Mary: And so I wouldn't suspect a trap, you pretended it was a coincidence, and waited 3 years before meeting again...
Vermouth: Yes... Because in order for Akai Tsutomu, who is supposed to be dead, to return to MI6... His wife who had suddenly disappeared—your existence—was the bottleneck of this...
Mary: It's true that, like in this case, I can tell whether it is my husband...
Mary: Or whether it's but a disguise of the witch with a thousand faces...
Side Text: The person opposing Mary—the witch, Vermouth...
Page 3
Mary: But it's a shame...
Mary: I told my daughter that if I didn't come back after some time, she should let MI6 know that this Akai Tsutomu is an impostor...
Mary: And leave London...
Vermouth: Then perhaps I should disguise as you...
Vermouth: And go meet this daughter of yours?
Mary: Hmph... You sound so sure of where my daughter is...
Mary: There's no way you could know. You, who couldn't even grasp her existence...
Vermouth: ...True...
Vermouth: It looks like I'd better infiltrate MI6 another time...
Vermouth: I'll just fulfill my other objective, then...
Vermouth: Mary Akai's elimination...
Vermouth: If you live, it'll bother us in several ways...
Vermouth: How does it feel?
Vermouth: Leaving this world, all thanks to the poison your little sister created...

Masumi: What's going on?
*knock*
*knock*
Masumi: Mama!
Masumi: Did you meet papa?
Masumi: Huh?
Masumi: Mama?
Masumi: Uh...
Masumi: Who...
Masumi: Are you?
Mary: It's me...
Mary: I've been drugged with a strange poison and ended up like this...
Mary: But I'm really your mother, Mary... *cough* *cough*
Masumi: R-really?! Is it really you, mama?!
[End flashback]
Masumi: It's hard to believe...

I think Chikara Katsumata being Rum is a very huge possibility
Sorry but RUM has already been established to be one of the 3 suspects: Kuroda, Wakasa and Wakita.
Chikara Katsumata is but a pro shogi player used as a character for Shuuichi's shogi matches, someone who's up to his level. People over exaggerate his relevance.

And as one of the people who has, even I think—at this point—that the probability of him actually turning out to be Rum is quite low.
