Dear Heiji,

I write this in case I never get to see you again. I hope that you will have more information to find my killer and their associates should I meet my untimely demise. Having heard that there are murderers on the loose, I've kept mostly to myself. On my first night here, someone with the codename Kamite wanted to talk. He (She?) was dressed so heavily that I can't find any distinguishing features of him (or her). He/she also spoke with a crude voice-changer. I told that mysterious man (woman?) that I rather stay in this tiny hotel room. Why? To know that you'd defend me.

The next day, I secretly accompanied a man (or woman) codenamed Henry Gordan, so I could get some groceries. After all, what can I eat if I stay cooped up inside an empty apartment? Like everyone else in town, there's nothing I can find that distinguishes Henry Gordan from everyone else in town. I doubt it was helpful, since Henry Gordan started shouting for someone to contact him/her. Without you, I just don't feel safe reaching out to the people in town. It doesn't help that there are a lot of ghosts in this town and the temples in this town are deserted.

I'm quite upset that someone would think that a daughter of a highly decorated police officer who happens to be a close friend of the police chief would even commit a crime! More than that, this officer would slander my name by associating me with those murderers in his will. I never even talked to that man. I want to file a complaint when I get back to Osaka, but how can I do that when he's gone from this world? Even a big mistake like this doesn't deserve death.

I've continued to kept to myself for the next night. I accompanied the person codenamed cinnamoroll during the day, and was deciding to slip the charm to our dearly departed doctor, but chose instead to keep it on me. Little good it did.

As the dusk fell on my third night in town, I find I can no longer stand by as the murderers run rampant. The recent deaths of a doctor, a police officer, and a professor jolted me from inaction. Pretty soon we'll all be dead from our indecisiveness. I've contacted three people whose codenames are cinnamoroll, dumytru, and MoonRaven. I've told them that I don't possess the skills to acquire information on the mysterious people in town. They are the only three who know of this fact.

As dawn broke, I'm sure my omikuji is wrong. Shou-kichi? An auspicious direction with all those around me. If that's true, the people I followed the last two days would not have been dead. Not to mention that the one I wait for isn't coming in time. I only hope that my last act rings true and thwarts the murderers in town.

I've never been that good with mysteries, and I hope you'd be here to find out who these murderers are. I almost got to tell you this, but you didn't hear. I'll say it again. I love you. Even if you won't say it, I will. Even if you won't take me seriously, I will. If you ever find this, look in my wallet. Ever since the embarrassing photo you found which someone had defaced, I got a new charm and a new cute picture of you in it. I now leave this to you.

The last few days had been rough. The deaths. The ghostly hauntings from the graveyard. Everyone decided that tonight was the night to visit the local watering hole. Not that anyone mind. A drink was just the thing to forget all those deaths.

Since the local bartender died early on, no one is there to make the drinks. Kamite and dumytru had been waiting in the bar to drink their sorrows away since sunset. After all, none of the clues they got made any sense to them. dumytru sips his Kir that he served himself. Kamite sips his drink from a random bottle in a corner. The two sat in silence until MoonRaven walks in.

Moon: You boys want me to make a drink for you?

The two turns in response, and quickly stares down at their drinks again with hardly a sound.

Moon: Fine then.

MoonRaven walks behind the counter and pours out a bottle of Calvados for herself. Moon leaves her drink at the counter and goes to the back of the store to scavenge some food.

When Moon gets back to the counter, Yuri and Meme walk in together, chatting with fierce focus on the recent murders and lynchings.

Meme: Hey Moon! I see you're trying your hand at mixing drinks. In that case, I'll have a Vermouth then.

Yuri: Hey Moon. I'll have a Bourbon. Got any snacks for us as well?

Moon: I think I found something good in the back. Give me a few minutes to prepare it.

Just then, the door opens and in comes Kleene Onigiri, with a wide grin on her face.

Kleene: Moon. I haven't had your drinks in a while. A Chianti for me please!

Moon simply points to the bottle at the bar and heads to the back again. dumytru and Kamite look up once again at the new visitor, and their composure snaps.

dumytru: How can you be so happy right now?

Kleene: Come over to the bar and I'll tell you.

As everyone settles around the bar counter, Moon comes back with plates of sliced cake for everyone, and a few plates of tsukiyotake that she found in the fridge.

Kamite: So? Tell us. Why so happy?

Kleene: Have a bite first. I'm starving.

Everyone takes a sip of their drinks and takes a bite out of the cake.

Moon: I hear the tsukiyotake are quite a delicacy here. Try some.

Meme and Kleene shake their heads, citing their dislike of mushrooms. Yuri takes a small bite out of the mushroom, in case she doesn't like it. dumytru and Kamite take a bite of the mushrooms. A look of delight flashes on dumytru's face. dumytru stuffs a few more in. No one notices Moon's smirk on her innocent face.

Kamite: Well? I'm waiting Kleene.

Kleene: Oh! So impatient. But then again. I'm quite impatient too. In my line of work, I just want my goal to get right in the center of where I'm aiming to be. Don't you?

Kamite: Stop stalling and just tell us!

dumytru slams the counter as he stands up.

dumytru: The longer you wait, the less time we have to solve this case.

At that moment, dumytru spews blood out of his face. dumytru and Kamite exclaim in surprise.

dumytru: what is this?

Moon: Well, Mizunashi Rena, I can't let you know about us and live. Same for you, Keiji-san.

At that moment, Kamite keels over on the ground, as his police badge slips out of his coat pocket. Yuri spots the name Nakamori before she starts feeling dizzy.

Kleene: The reason I'm happy is because we've completed our mission. This town is ours. Even the traitors to our organization are all taken care of in one fell swoop.

Meme: Yes, and you all made it very easy for us.

Meme, who everyone thought was the best-selling mystery novel writer, Kudo Yuusaku, rips off her latex mask. dumytru drops down on the ground, holding his stomach tightly in fetal position, writhing in pain.

Meme: I had thought better of you, Yuri. The fact that you would betray us, Amuro, filled my heart with sorrow. But only for a tiny second. You see, no one crosses us and can hope to live. You of all people should understand that.

As Yuri falls back from her seat, Meme, Moon, and Kleene takes another sip of their drink and another small bite of their cake. They savour the aroma in silence, thinking little of the dead bodies they have to bury. Thinking little of the ghosts that haunt this town.

The conversation with you literally saved the game for me, otherwise I wouldn't have had any fun, really.
And while I did trust you, I told you it's a gamble since the game is ending, but! You asked me why I trusted you. That's mostly because you actually try to make a conversation, when most BOs would try to avoid any (conversation) at all.
What made me suspect you was:
- you just agreed with my suspicion on blurf, but didn't do anything about it (I honestly expected you'd try to make a plan, which is why I waited so long before announcing the lynch, but then there were less then 6 hours, so I did it anyways).
- you didn't said anything on the forums about agreeing with the lynch, so I even tried to make you do it, but you still refused (???)
- you never came with your own opinions about players, you basically listened to me and agreed or disagreed <- which is my strategy when I'm BO and I know how well it works lol
But really, at that point Kamite and Meme were way more suspicious, and I kinda stopped caring too much. Btw Kamite, why do you act like that :O It's so damn confusing. You even said "that's suspicious", but HELL YOU NEVER TOLD ME WHAT WAS!!!1

Anyways, me trusting you is part of the game, I'd never get annoyed / angry by that so no need to say sorry.

Moon knowing blurf is town (100%!! apparently) and saying that to me in a PM, BUT SAYING LITERALLY NOTHING IN THE FORUMS, was really bad!
That's why I said to you "if it turns out Kleene, Meme and Kamite are BO, i might just quit playing mafia lol" <- I wanted to see how you'd react. Then I tried that with Kleene too (which backfired because it made me trust Kleene more lol).

Anyways Moon, saying "blurf is town" is all fine, but not trying to change the vote AT ALL and not saying who you trust and who you suspect (in private) is really a bad idea. I did suspect you for that, but then again you were defending a townie, so my brain was like "nah, a BO would NEVER EVER defend a townie".

Ah, right. The conversation was fun because it was the only thing that happened after SA and Cinna died. Nobody would say anything, nobody would do anything.
I did and ended up lynching a townie, but I still think it's better then not doing anything at all (in the situation).
