He seems pretty active outside his house for a butler.....Wouldn't a butler be normally inside the house they work in? Odd he keeps ending up around Conan
Especially when he is not close to Momiji. I get if he was out and Momiji was always with him but there has been moments its him alone.
Anyway i'm waiting for us to see another appearance of Wakita

Rei/Toru/Bourbon played a big role in the cases that preceded the last two big cases (before Mystery Train and before Scarlet Showdown)—maybe he'll play a big role in the case before the one that'll include File 1000, and make it 3 for 3.

Well, since File 1000 might be a ShinRan romance case, the pattern wouldn't hold, but I definitely believe that it's due time for a Wakita/Bourbon appearance(Since we just now got a follow up to Iori/Momiji since File 981-983, so it should follow up with the other components of that case, Bourbon and Iroha restaurant).

Well, since File 1000 might be a ShinRan romance case...
Oh, there's little doubt that's going to play a role in File 1000 case. Question is, is it going to be solely that (or even mainly)? Even so, there may be something(s) in the background. And then there's how many files that case will comprise.
If Shinichi's coming back, will it involve the BO? Or will it be a Desperate Revival/Shinigami/London situation? Or even both?

That could be troublesome since Shinichi is supposed to be dead and if the BO sniffed out that he was alive and this time it's not some prank (like Heiji in the off-season Halloween case) they could move on to finish him off, even.

He's already managed to do that three times, already—unless this case winds up being the end of the Rum arc, and the following arc is all about building up to the series finale (making it the final arc of DC), I can't see the BO learning enough to try and take action against him through people like Ran. Unless we're getting a paradigm shift instead of the beginning of the end of DC—like if, after the case that will feature File 1000, Shinichi/Conan would no longer be living with Ran and Kogoro at the Mouri Detective Agency. To make it easier to cut the mirror under water.
Since at the moment there is a discussion about the correct translation going on, im wondering in which room the tap was left running.

the Japanese text implies that the uploaded mentioned that the taps in Amanda's room were left running.
this doesn't mean that the taps in Kouji's room weren't running, but it was not stated in the manga
