Anyone else here think Kogoro knows that Conan uses him?

let's return to the subject. i don't think that kogoro knows that conan is using him. if he only suspected that he would be very angry. proof: he allways gets angry when he realises that conan figures out some easy things and tels him not mess around. so kogoro wouldn't suport to be used by conan or by anyone else.

when he turns into conan, he just undergoes a heavy amount of respiration, and loses all his carbon mass to the CO2 he breathes out! Ta-da!

...but that would be a lot of CO₂ and he would probably suffocate himself and those around him!
One mole of an ideal gas at STP is 22.4 L. Assuming 40kg of his own mass is lost and most of the mass lost is a combination of carbon and hydrogen I am going to estimate that 2500 moles of gas are going to be produced of which carbon dioxide makes up a significant part. 22.4 liters/mol*2500 mols makes 56,000 liters of gas. 56000 liters is 56 cubic meters. If a room is 3 meters high and the floorspace is 18.6 repeating sq meters, that room is an equivalent volume that Conan would fill with gas entirely. Anyone in that room while Conan transforms would suffocate. Also, bystanders would notice the increased concentration of CO₂ and would respond with air hunger. Also there would probably be a nasty smelling breeze as air is displaced and naturally occurring sulfur in the body is converted to foul smelling H₂S.

Kogoro doesn't have a clue about whats going on with him, i think that he just don't say a thing because he' s afraid of loosing all his reputation as a famous detective and everything that comes along with it.

Besides, if one starts thinking, he really doesn't have a very important role further that to be used by Conan to comunicate who's the culprit xD .... and a fact that he's just stupid is that (Ran's fans please dont read the spoiler)

Ran is too xD LOL because, how can't she recognize he's best and beloved friend just because he's wearing glasses??, i mean, he's even wearing the same clothes that he used to when they were both young, when Conan dissapear Shinichi appear (they were never together except in those cases when Ai dissguised as Conan but in that moment Conan had half-faced covered so she couldn't know it was really him, and he even has the same blood type, isnt that just too many coincidences???

Almost everything in the manga points to Kogorou being stupid but there is at least one thing that hints otherwise. AFAIR he always gets the name of a murderer wrong. If there are 5 suspects he will tell who's murderer right after telling 4 other names earlier, if there are 3 suspect X,Y,Z and Z is a murderer he will always say that X is a murderer, then Y and lastly Z. What are the chances that he would always be wrong? The same as the chances he would be always right and pointed the right man every time. That suggests he's screwing with everyone and only pretends to be stupid.
And we've seen sometimes evidences of his intelligence and you would have to be extremely dumb to not notice being put to sleep by Conan. After 400 times even the slowest person would notice (and most people after the 2nd time).

On a more serious note, Gosho Aoyama obviously knows how stupid it looks like we do and uses it to add some humour to the series. I really liked when in one of the chapters/episodes Conan hid into Mouri's bathrobe and handed some piece of evidence with his small hand which confused everyone. When someone asked why did his hand shrunk he replied: "Don't let such small matter bother you" or sth like that .

It doesn't imply, it says directly.

That point aside, most of the latest files have shown Conan openly shooting Kogoro in front of everyone--it's a wonder no one notices, actually. And nowadays, before shooting, he even says something in Kogoro's voice BEFORE shooting him.

But hey, we're past the 700 mark, so let's welcome this with open arms~

I think Conan might drop it soon, I think a while back he was talking to Agasa about the dart taking longer to take effect or something. At this point, he's so well-established as a creepily intelligent kid that he probably could solve the case himself.
