In all seriousness (and sorta commenting on what Shiromi was saying), this is why I was hoping they would redo the first case that Conan and Kid meet as a sort of intro, but nope skip right to Ryoma. Not like you could have put that other one after the clock heist, nope.

The first 6-7 episodes aside from the billiard one were kind of ehh but after that it's been pretty good, the Touichi flashback was handled really well.

This "Kid Kid" song is just ridiculously bad I know every music score can't be on the level of Conan but man this is just bad. Again I know its different series but the Sub-Boss and Snake in the 1st episode came across as villains straight out of Scooby Doo. Aren't they supposed to be a foil for the main character and give a little bit more trouble than that?

The anime has changed the order of events around so that those villains get introduced very early (episode 2) so that they can
serve as series long villains. If you read the manga in order and get to the chapters towards the end of volume 3
and the beginning of volume 4 it seems more like they would pose a threat. The Kaitou manga series was always meant to
be a bit more comical. Also remember that slightly more than half of it was written between 1988 and 1994. The Kaitou
series Orginization plot didn't even exist at that point and was added at a point after the Conan series had begun.

You will see more of them once the episodes Green Dream, Crystal Mother (again...), Red Tear, and Midnight Crow get aired.
I think there are like 12 more manga heists from the Kaitou manga they can choose to animate, but they might also choose
from the pool of crossovers from Detective Conan they can reanimate. It seems less likely that they will air some of those
very silly cases from the beginning of the manga though because they don't really fit with anything that has been shown....

I only liked about the last 30 seconds of the Op, partly because it felt like it was dragging for a bit :V

I have mixed feelings about ep 13. On the one hand different angles and the new scenes were pretty nice, I thought. On the other hand the animation was bad again and Aoko's dress really disappointed me.
For the next episode, I'm a little interested to see what they're going to do with the story. Also, wth, why does that cat have no pupils?
