(SPOILERS!) What could the story right now lead to?(Ideas + drawings)

I agree with you that death of one of BO's spy would be great plot development and if that happened, then I would say it will be Kir and it would always be nice to see Eisuke. I'm actually hoping that we will get a death of one of recurring character by the end of the series, but Gosho better not kill Amuro off.

It would make more sense for Rena to get killed, as she is on shaky ground, while Rei is still assumed to be loyal to the Org. *shrugs*

So far, we've now been hinted a bit of Rum's characteristics, like the artificial eye. I've been thinking a little about what's in store for us for this arc and it crossed my mind that we can predict a little of what scenarios and interactions conan can be in as this arc progresses. For instance, most of us are aware of gosho's style or way to create awesome plots that progresses to the epic climaxes.

It starts for example(generally speaking) with a "key enemy"[ Vermouth, kir, bourbon, Rum] that is in, or creates, a "situation"[disguise, coma, fake akai Trap, eye accident? ]...
then a "new character(s)"[jodie/Akai/James, Eisuke/ethan, Sera/subaru/amuro, ] is introduced that is heavily related or connected to either the situation the key enemy is in, or has created, or the key character itself...
This situation also leads back to one of the good guys[haibara/jodie, kogoro/hidemi/Akai, Sherry/Akai, Bourbon/Kir] being endangered.

My point is, following this pattern, a couple of characters are gonna be introduced that will in one way or another connect to Rum or his Rat extermination operations(or his/her accident), while we at the same time get a development(or surprising connections) of the the past incidents(Akai family, elena/atsushi, scotch, vermouth). So what do you guys think, is it gonna be a typical gosho style new-character-Introduction, where the character(s) approaches conan's gang? Or will it be a more discrete confrontation(like in vermouth arc)?

According to the super digest book 70+: yukiko was denied to be Sera's mom's sister by gosho himself,... now many can already guess who the sister is and some doesn't want her to be it, namely Miyano Elena. In my head, since the whole denial by gosho, just like how clear it was for me, since the beginning, that shuukichi is the middle brother, I'm basically sure enough to make it a fact that Elena is Akai's aunt, not to mention her maiden name being Sera as well (Elena Sera).

All hints just point to that. The fact that it's heavily hinted, through clothes and fashion, that sera has british origins, the "little sister" ,who's likely sera's Mother, looking not only foreign, but also had British-styled kids clothes. The only Known important British characters in the serie is James Black and ELENA MIYANO!! also, since elena is heavily connected to the apptoxin4869, since she had a part in the research, it's no wonder sera's mother could get in contact with it and end up as she is now...

..and then elena's intentionally hidden eyes.......compared to atsushi, Most of elena's appearance has already been revealed, except her EYES, which I believe reveals her connection to sera's mother(eyes). I've noticed that people don't like the elena idea because it would make akemi and akai cousins, But, I think it only puts so much suspense into the serie!!! ^.^
