I mean, what changed his mind from further developing the friendship between the two. Romantic or not, the buildup regarding their relationship was really nice and not at all forced. After around the late 500s, it just seemed to stop. Was it because he decided to focus more on Bourbon at that time?

Ouch, actually everyone can see Conan likes Haibara but he is too densed to realize it. Ran is a sensitive person , if she knows about Conan's identity, i can smell jealousy over the scene XD
I dont mind ShinRan will end up together in the end, I like Conan and Ai's interaction during the manga. It's much more better than any childhood pairings.
I just wonder, since Gosho is a matchmaker, when he will create a lover for Ai-chan. It's only her as a popular character who wasnt paired up yet. Screw Mitsuhiko. Sera will end up with bourbon. Shuichi? For falling in love with two women already, he is a womanizer actually =D (I'll pass)

Ai and Conan would really be the perfect couple but Gosho ruined our hopes...

Concerning the others male characters,I don't mind Shuichi,he's a great guy and he knows Shiho for a long time...but I have the feeling that

Sera's middle brother could be Ai's lover in the future,knowing Gosho it's a possibility.Especially if he's an other APTX victim.

I agree with you. Gosho always introduces a new chara based on special purpose. So, I wouldnt get surprised if someone popped out from nowhere and became her future lover (hopefully it wont be another childhood romance *please)

She knows Shinichi very well. She is RIGHT!! Conan likes Haibara very much but he denies because he doesn't want to be a lolicon. If Shinichi could meet Shiho, he must be falling in love with her! Shiho is his only "IRENE ADLER"(even Gosho admits this), their relationship is more attractive than any other boring childhood coupling. Hahaha.^^ ===> Truth is always One.


But Gosho only supports borig Shinran or even Cosera thesedays. (-_-);; No hope. Poor my Aichan!! Where's her True Love - Shuichi? Bourbon? No Gin!! Gosho must give Shiho Hakuba Saguru or Akai/Bourbon!!

I really don't think we should expect great chemistry from Akai-Shiho or Bourbon-Shiho or Hakuba-Shiho(this one maybe wouldn't be that bad). But after all they've been through, I can't imagine anyone better suited for her than Conan, and it's not even close. I think CoAi is one of, if not the best we've seen in the series and likely will always be.

At least Akai looks a bit like Conan in terms of qualities,and he knows Shiho for a long time(contrary to Hakuba who never met her,seriously how can you find Hakuba/Shiho good together while they never exchanged a word???)
I bet Akai/Ai interactions will be intersting,and same thing for Bourbon/Ai(since he was close to Helena)

I don't think he doesn't know Shiho for a long time, it was just Akemi he mostly met, not Shiho.

Well he wanted to get close to Sherry in order to be trusted by the BO and slip into them,so I guess they had to spend time together so he he probably knows her more than the average people in DC.

Anyway my point is that he's somebody from Shiho's past so of course that should be interesting.
