I got a cold a few days ago (that Anaine gave me D: Stupid sister >__<) and I think it's developed to a fever T__T
Talking to a friend on Skype and apparently a bone and ligament in her hand aren't lying properly in place. She's getting operated for it in two weeks

The Sun is a trashy right-wing tabloid in the UK, Aqua. And it's a rag that is most definitely not good in average doses XP (Because of its Tory bent, it's not very popular in Scotland, causing a lot of jokes about how you never see The Sun in Scotland XP)

It's only my opinion, I repeat))

Ok, if you don't want to hear the truth, do as you please. I won't talk about this anymore. It's pity people can't see real things...

Aqua, your country has ALREADY done something like this, I have no idea how old you were in 2008, but here's what happened: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Russo ... tic_crisis
Yeah, it's wikipedia, it doesn't matter.

I would also like you to stop saying that the EU is kissing the Americans' boot. They don't have the greatest foreign policies, we know that. Not everything is black OR white, we have the right to criticize who we want in our countries without the fear of being imprisonned if we disagree. The Cold War is over, not being pro-russians doesn't mean we're pro-americans...

Honestly, most of us are just kinda side-eyeing the US across the ocean and going "are we SURE that's a real country? Are you sure it's not a film set for some kinda dystopian movie? C'mon, people are taking their guns with them when they go grocery shopping, no WAY that's a real country."

(Seriously, though, sometimes it terrifies me how utterly borked America's politics and power structures can be and I feel sorry for everyone stuck living in it.)

Usually, all I see is "LOBBIES!! OIL!!" everywhere, but then, I've had communist history teachers since high-school and one pro-soviet for my 1st of year of master's degree..it might be the reason...

I'm sure the EU is perfect on the issues of politics and racism.

Though unlike in Liverpool, I don't think you actively burn the Sun as soon as one enters city boundaries :P

As to that whole Russia thing again. NL is trying its best to stay friends with Putin, if all our government would try to avoid everything that could harm our precious relationship, but with the crash we might be a little quick to judge. We are, in all aspects though, a trader's country. Our best interest is to stay friends with everyone so we can trade a lot and earn money by doing so.

Yeah, it's wikipedia, it doesn't matter.
2008? Don't look that far away. Russia supplied Assad's army with weapons during the ongoing civil war in Syria. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russia's_r ... _Civil_War

Yeah but since the USA likes to arm rebels too (and then other countries have to pick up the pieces, or actually let the rebels turn the country into a dictatorship), I'm not sure if it's the best example?

Forgive me. I thought you were trying to point out Russia also pokes its nose into other countries like the USA.

Though... Syria is already somewhat a dictatorship. But then again I don't want to imagine what Syria would be like if ISIS had a full control over it. Not that I think ISIS will ever gain such control, but still...

Uh, I was just pointing out that yeah, Russia likes to invade its surrounding countries! So yeah, they like to poke their nose the USA, just...differently.
I've got no love for any of these countries' foreign policy, and just...government and surrounding things in general these past few decades ;)

Nah, the EU's broken as hell too and we're all just kinda embarrassed about it >_> It's a nice idea, but it's clearly not working. Look at how crap the Euro is.

That last comment freaks the hell out of me... How can you say that Aqua? You sound exactly like nazi germany...

Aquahorse wrote:Nazi are in Kiev, not us) I answered on attacks to my country, it was unpleasant to me, so do I) It's simple. You misunderstood) See on events) Good night.
You misunderstand, Aqua, because Hitler and Nazi Germany believed Poland was theirs... so slowly they started to poke the boundaries and eventually took it over believing Poland had been theirs all along and that it was simply taken from them... And of course it never stopped there, because after Poland other countries followed in the annexation. All because the UK refused to step in and take action.

What you said that made me link you to them is that Crimea was yours all along... Sounding familiar there? Oh yes it does. And the actions the EU is taking? Not exactly the same as before, but it's basically history repeating itself.

*puts on tin foil hat* *frothes at the mouth* THAT'S BECAUSE YOU WANT THE AMERICANS TO LIKE YOU BETTER, look at how you're blocking websites and such... WE DON'T DO THAT IN FRANCE *what do you mean I don't live there anymore?*

*looks at our president mussel, whse predecessor had a Napoleon size complex* ==> imminent facepalm...

Aqua, you can't just exit a "debate" by saying goodnight everytime we say something that you don't like. I'm not sure if you've seen how many of us are from different countries and we get to agree on this! You can't deny attacks on Ukraine, then say "it was them first so we retaliated"
