Sorry ^^;.
It's ok stoppie! It's not your fault!
It's a culturally ingrained thing... and we apologize for that :P
If it makes you feel any better, I say sorry for almost anything. Most of the time, it's not even in a context that requires me to say sorry, I just say it for some reason.
Heck, during one of my recitals, I kinda bumped with the piano on the stage, and I turned my head quickly and said sorry to the piano. Normally it wouldn't be such a problem, but during a recital, in front of an audience, this must have seemed pretty weird.

So Anita Sarkeesian has been driven out of her home due to stalking, rape and death threats from male gamers who are angry at her for discussing sexism in the video game industry.

I don't think her point could have been more aptly proven.

IDK if she had a kickstarter or not. *checks Wikipedia* She had a kickstarter for her Tropes vs Women series, which she has made--it premiered later than promised, because she raised far more than anticipated, so she was able to massively expand the scale and quality of the production, but she has been using the money for exactly its intended purpose and the videos are pretty good and definitely interesting to think about.

Whether you agree with her or not, you can't say that she deserves this crap or deny that her harassers have vividly illustrated her point about the attitudes towards women being fostered in the games industry.

I don't actually care about what she does, but she doesn't deserve it.... I just remember hearing about her once.

Kor, so have you started "Future boy Conan"? If so, how do you like it? Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be many fans to be interested in an anime that old.

Ok, so I don't know if I'm supposed to actually use the book for this or not. It's supposed to be about my memories, so I'm not sure. I'm gonna have to ask my professor :|

I didn't get around to it yet. Probably during the weekend I'll check the first episode.
Most of the anime I love the most are actually pretty old ones by Nippon Animation's World Masterpiece Theater.
