Well, that thing was goddamn creepy. Watching it die in fire was extremely satisfying, even if it didn't stay dead.

Well this series is partially influenced by a certain sci-fi horror series after all, so yeah, this game can get creepy (not sure if I hinted towards that yet).

I do hope people enjoy what I'm doing for the lore text, because I do feel this is probably the best way to do this. It gives me a better chance to more accurately read what it is saying and remember what they are talking about specifically (though I do still remember the general idea of what these talk about) so that I can briefly add some sort of very brief thoughts to it that aren't just awkward summarizing. One of the more interesting things about this game, is that this is the vast majority of the story, so you can essentially skip the story elements if you wish to. So I think it works perfectly to allow people to skip the parts of the video involving the story, since you don't have to scan them in the game in the first place.

So for the...er...literally 5 people who watch these videos, I feel I should give an update.

All I can say is that right now it's really likely that I'm gonna have to put this Let's Play on hold. I've tried all I can to make this work but right now it is only slightly above being impossible. And I do not want to stop this one but at this rate, I'm never gonna get another video out so I'm most likely gonna straight up move onto Let's Play #2. Thankfully, I think I can pull off something with the games I had planned to do after Metroid Prime, so that's good.

The capture device I have will frequently not record correctly (as in it will immediately lose my footage), and it has gotten to the point that it would take me recording the same things over and over for basically every single part. Considering this isn't a game where you can just save anywhere especially makes it too frustrating. And I tried to work on it despite that but it has gotten ridiculous at this point. It would take forever and not be worth it.

However, from what I understand, recording directly from this Laptop would not require this device. And GCN is just at the point where emulators were no longer a good idea, and the next few games I had planned were no more powerful than N64, so I can just use that.
