As a gym leader/E4 we can have 9 pokemon and out of those we can choose without telling the challenger. That way it would be more of a challenge. =D

It is enough of a challenge already, considering that Leaders set up their own rules (singles doubles etc) and each challenger has a unique team of 9 pokemons only to beat 8 Gym Leaders and 4 Elites. Besides the main idea is for challengers to advance in the region, buffing up Leaders can result in challengers getting stuck in some gym and would forbid them from matches against the E4 or the Champion.Kamite wrote:As a gym leader/E4 we can have 9 pokemon and out of those we can choose without telling the challenger. I think my challenger team is going to be the eight eevee evolutions and mega-lucario. That's my current plan, but we'll see how that goes. Also, I've been sick for several days (strep + possibly flu), so I'm way behind on what I had planned to have done by now.
