"The Ship's Closet" has quite a few legit points about Spirk. Stuff like Vulcan's "kisses" are simply touching two fingers to each other and there's a rather prominent scene in (in the movies iirc) where Spock and Kirk are clasping hands (it makes sense in context). The meanings of t'hy'la. Also, the "back rub scene" and Amok Time are both incredibly slashy.

Considering ST isn't even my "current" fandom it's slightly disturbing how much I remember.

And now I need more Good Omens fusion fics and to complete watching through Strangers With Candy (blue and orange morality is key to that). Which is unrelated, but yeah.

Oh my god, the backrub scene. I just about died watching that. Also, I'm not on the movies yet but I am aware of the tender handholding and the meanings of t'hy'la. Also, if handholding is the Vulcan equivalent of a kiss, what does it mean when Kirk and Spock are pretty much hanging off each other, which they've done on more than one occasion? (This ship has taken off at warp factor 7, I swear)

I was wondering if i was the only one thinking about this. Plus when
Spoiler:
Spock dies in Star Trek 2, Kirk's reaction was EXACTLY like Peter's in "The Night Gwen Stacy Died".

*Spock casually walks up to guard* "Sir, there is a multi-legged creature on your shoulder."
*guard actually looks*
*Spock knockoutgrips, takes gun and walks away with aliens staring at him*

Spock I am so done with you.

Also Scotty is awesome in this episode. Stand tall, big man.

I'm currently watching Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, Suits, Teen Wolf (2011), The Walking Dead, and Under the Dome.

That's it for now, until my other shows return in September/October.

Updates...

Done with:
- Game of Thrones (Season 3)
- Sherlock (Season 2)
- White Collar (Season 1)
- Bates Motel (Season 1) [Anyone? Well, as you may already know, this one is based on the film, Psycho. I haven't watched that one yet, but I like this one.]

Keeping up with:
- White Collar (Season 2, Episode 2)
- Dr. Who (Season 1, Pilot episode) [Looooong way to go.]

(Dropped the others.)

I only watch the Mentalist in regular bases ( waiting for the latest season ), but if the time is right for me I watch Poriot as well.

I did watch a bit from CSI, but it did not attract me, it was complicated for my taste :-\ .

When I watched the Mentalist for the first time ( The horse race episode ) I did not like it, there was nothing else on TV, but that episode it was the only watchable thing. when I watched it I was like, that man (Patrick) is so arrogant and thinks that he knows everything.
Then I left it until again I badly wanted to watch anything and the Mentalist was my only choice, then I started liking it, especially after I started to know the back story of Patrick and Red Johns.
It reminds somehow of DC, How Shinichi had an incident which lead him to work with Kogorou and both Patrick and Shinichi know everything in the world :-X Also, I like the humour in it and mostly the relationship between Patrick and Lisbon, I mean if it was another show, their relationship would have developed differently, but I like it how it kept a balance
Every time I want to give up on DC, it manages to bring me back, it brings me back feelings I know that I will never ever feel or live again.

Since the last time, I have finished Suits (Season 1-3), and am watching Hannibal. I do not know how to look at food normally now. XD

Currently I'm watching:
- Homeland
- Sons of Anarchy
- Scandal
But since I missed the start of the new seasons of the shows I'm not caught up yet.

I'm also watching a lot of panel shows from the UK.
