I think there is a bit of a difference there, as far as I understood it. manga, being Scottish, wasn't angry because a joke about Scottish stereotypes was told, but because a Scotswoman (Does that word exist?) was given an English stereotype. So the comparison would be correct if she had applied some New York or California stereotype to you (unless you actually are from these places, but AFAIK, you aren't).

Or, put differently, Parkur should have made her a Scottish miser instead of an English tea lover :x
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.

I think I just need to apologize because I said something stupid before and inadvertently offended PT. I'm sorry, I know not all Texans are stupid. I know not all Americans are stupid, and if a joke about that was offensive I'm very sorry.

I wasn't THAT heavily offended by Parkur's joke, just in the middle of a working week where I've had an unusually high number of tourists of many nations coming in and either assuming that they're still in England or insisting that the UK and England are the same thing, and it really grates. Shouldn't have taken it out on Texans, and I apologize for that.

Thank you, manga. And I'm sorry for my outburst as well. Probably should've just PMed you about it rather than letting it stew and then bringing it out here, tbh. :-X So I'm sorry.

sonoci's quest for poutine, part 2
Spoiler:
sonoci had found a new partner! She was overjoyed at this new development. "Hey, I almost forgot to ask your name"
"Name's Manga Mcluvabottomworthinstein, Manga fer short!" the girl said, clasping her portable cricket set.
"...Okay...Manga it is! Now we should go find some weapons.
The girls make their way to a local weapons shop, but to their surprise, there was nobody there, only a lone watch.
sonoci, being a hardened criminal and thief, picked up the watch without hesitation. "Finders keepers, losers weepers!" she said, tightening the watch around her arm, but suddenly when she went to press a button on the watch, a girl came out of it in a flash of pink smoke."
Manga and sonoci were speechless as the girl slowly rose to her feet. "Hey! D'you have any idea how much my house costs? You can't just go around taking it! :/ :x"
sonoci and Manga were still dumbfounded "Your...house? ...Whatever, look! We need some weapons, can you help us?"
"Hmph! I shouldn't since you tried to steal from me, but I'll make an exception on one condition"
"And that condition is?"
"You've just gotta listen to me talk for a bit."
"Well...I suppose that's fair."
Little did the two know, that listening to the mysterious watch girl talk was widely regarded as a fate worse than death, she went on for hours and hours about nothing, the girls were actually thinking about suicide. But luckily, she stopped about 13 hours later.
"Okay, now let's get some weapons for you! I've got 3 types of swords, Dual Blades, Katanas, and Longswords, take your pick."
Manga grabbed the Katana while sonoci chose the Dual Blades
"Okay! That'll be 8 trillion pounds!"
The girls gave this zero consideration and shoved the watch into the girl's mouth, killing her rather painfully
"Okay, I get the feeling there's one more person we need to recruit, let's go, Manga"
The two girls skipped off happily, bound for the US, where the final piece of the puzzle was sure to be waiting for them, but unknown to them, word had spread about their quest, and dangerous forces were beginning to move, dangerous forces that were prepared to keep the world's poutine to themselves...no matter what the cost.

It was my fault, I make really bad jokes when I'm tired and I should probably filter them better before letting them out : x

Also, @Parkur... did we just murder Stopwatch? D:

It's okay. We still don't know how she got there, or how she got her money. There's so much suspense waiting for us while the plot is still a mystery :P
