In both cases, why have your queen run away? If Schillok decides initiate a queen trade in either case, your response would just strengthen your board position.

Yes, you're right. I noticed it as well. Well, you're always wiser afterwards...
I made a lot of mistakes in this game anyway...
Well, I guess you can't save your a-pawn anymore which would put me two pawns ahead. And my own a-pawn will get very strong afterwards. In addition to the pair of bishops which get much stronger in open situations like that one...
In a normal game I would have continued playing. But I guess for that kind of play where each move takes a while it is okay to resign early.
