I'm probably going to sound like a total idiot by asking this but I really want to know: is this basically going to be a video of us watching one of you guys play or is it going to be something we can play ourselves? I'd been thinking it would be the first since I didn't even know if the second is possible, but some of comments about "testers" and especially your progress report (with talks of easter eggs and reworking puzzles) makes me wonder (and hope) that is could possibly be the second.

Like I said, this question probably makes me look like a total n00b, but in my defense (sort of) technology ISN'T my strong suit. So if somebody could clear this up for me, I'd appreciate it. Honestly either way is fine with me, since its not like I could play the original - though it would be awesome if I could actually play the game. (How would that even WORK anyway? Would we download it? but isn't for a ds isn't it? How would the controls work?)

It'll be the game itself, translated and set up as a file to be played on an emulator. I think someone mentioned where to get DS emulators earlier, but I can't quite remember precisely where. ~_~*

And to clarify things further in case anyone's still confused, emulation is basically playing a game you would typically play on a console or handheld on your computer instead (and for free!  >:D). As a bonus, good emulators will also have various options you can fiddle with (like adding cheats, loading/saving game states [which allows you to pick up from exactly where you want to!], speeding up the game, etc, etc), but of course you don't have to use these options, especially if technology "isn't your strong suit," and you'll still receive pretty much the full experience of playing the game! Yup, emulating's kinda awesome.

And yeah, DeSmuME is the best DS emulator out there in my opinion. You can get it here: http://desmume.org/download/ and like it says, you'll probably end up picking the first one. I've recently been playing all the Phoenix Wright games on it...  ::) which actually seem to have a very similar gameplay to this game thus far. So...I guess you could say I have testing experience with this type of game... Hope you guys finish soon! And we're all with you along the way.

This game is perfectly suited for emulator play. There aren't any complicated controls or anything. You can play practically the entire main game with just the mouse on your computer (that acts as the touch screen on a Nintendo DS, for the purposes of emulation). Of course, you can also use the controls that are mapped to the keyboard for the same functions.
