It is interesting, but the problem is only his front side body and face was burnt. And the underside of the wheelchair.
not a problem
Spoiler:
if the mummy part of the wrap goes over the wheelchair back

a good idea, but impossible.
Spoiler:
Since once the wrapping burns ashes will be produced, and because of the heat from the fire it will scatter the ashes around the room with the heated air making it impossible to collect all of them without missing some. Since no ashes were discovered it means that this didn't happen
Also, after going through my riddle more thoroughly, I think I didn't leave enough clues as to explain what the trick was.
I also made mistake in my riddle (sorry :-[), the nails in the legs were nailed in AFTER death and nails were found in nailed into his buttocks all over before death. Again I'm really sorry i missed this, complete fail on my part.

Anyway here's some updated facts that i hope will assist you in solving the riddle:

Reviewing the tape on the first visit, the culprit who was carrying the 5 plastic boxes(about a4 sized and 12 cm deep, they had lids on them so you couldn't see what was inside) seemed awfully careful not to let them touch each other as well as careful not to move the boxes too much. The time he visited was 17:00 and the time he left was 19:00
On the day of the second visit a witness next door heard the sound of a blowtorch lasting about 2-3 minutes then a clang on metals, there were 4 clangs
The witness then heard the sound of the bottle scrunching
After that the witness heard metal sounds that lasted around 40 minutes
The sound of blowtorch came on again but only for about a minute
The second visit he came at 12:57 and left at 14:00
A cassette tap was found in the victim's pocket, it seems nothing is recorded
The analogue watch that the victim was(which was resting on the wheelchair seat) wearing was 5 hours fast
The wounds where the iron nail were, had larger holes than the circumference of the iron nail
The 4 square clear parts on the underside were 14 cm in length
The metal box is the same size as the plastic box, it also has a lid as well so you can't see what's inside

Btw one of the evidence i mentioned somewhere is a red herring, as in it has no purpose or to indicate what the murder trick was

So the questions you need to answer are:
What was the method that prevented Daniel from moving.
What was the purpose of all the damage done to him after death as well as the damage to the wheelchair
What was the purpose of the metal box, plastic box, blowtorch, bottle of water and sleeping pills
Why was the watch 5 hours fast?
How did the 4 square clear parts form?

Below is the riddle again so you don't have to hop to the previous page to see it.
Spoiler:
Mouri Kogorou was called in to assist in a case of a strange death. After the formal greetings with inspector Megure, he was given the facts of the case.

Daniel Caramze (the name is completely made up) was dead in his room. Marks of torture lay all over him, countless long thick iron nails have been buried into his legs (at least 30 of the nails have scratched the femur from all sides bottom to top on both femurs), arms, chest and buttocks, his front side body and face was burnt leaving him unrecognizable. An autopsy was still possible as the internal body were not too damaged. On the underside of the seat of the wheelchair burnt marks were everywhere except 4 square places around the middle.

He was a disabled man from waist below according to the medical records and sleeping pill traces was found inside him.
Large nails were caught in between the gaps in the wheels so you couldn't move the wheelchair from the center of the room.

"Seems like quite a mad murderer we have here." muttered Kogorou "I assume he died of blood loss?"

"That's the problem" Megure stared hard at Kogorou eyes "We know who killed him but some of the facts just don't add up. According to our autopsy report he died of dehydration, so we assumed naturally that he was tied up and the criminal later collected the rope when he died from dehydration."
Megure gave a heavy sigh.
"But that's not the case, no rope marks or any of that kind were found. We also checked the security footage on the hallway outside to see if the criminal stayed in the room to keep and eye on him but he only visited twice with a 1 week interval."

"Perhaps the victim couldn't move because of the various injuries to him?" suggested Kogorou.

"Another strange point. All damage done to the victim except for the nails in the buttocks was done AFTER death. So that means the victim's hands was free, he could have crawled out of his wheelchair and gotten help yet he didn't, something stopped him and until we have a complete case the murderer will escape free due to lack of evidence."
"But isn't there anything? Any clue or such?" said Kogorou,

"There is one thing. The first time he came he carried 5 plastic boxes.
The second time the killer came to visit, he brought about the size of an a4 sheet of paper size metal box, a blowtorch and well a bottle of water"

Oh and here's a link to what the wheelchair normally looks like if you need it

Any questions feel free to ask in pm
I hope i covered it now. And again sorry for the change in some facts, it's just the more i thought about it the more i thought I needed to add more. Gl with your deductions
I see what you did there ;)

Spoiler:
That kind of wheelchairs are rare and mostly found in hospitals, at least in Germany.
The victim couldn't move because any movement would hurt because of the nails in reaching is femur…

Maybe the culprit wanted to perform some kind of operation on the victim hence the sleeping pills.
Mabye some any septic surgery material was kept in the metal boxes.
So the blowtorch could be used to desinfect the used surgery equipment and the water bottle was there to cool them down again.
The plastic boxes contained muscles placed in some kind of liquid so the culprit had to be carefull.

Most person of this type have no feeling from that point ( In this case the waist down) as such I feel that the nail part is trivial as he likely never felt them. And thus that part might be a red herring.

Also As I believe the writer will not allow cheating, access to the outside should not exist, we have one way in and one way out. We also have the problem of why no moment. He was not killed by sleeping pills, so at times he must have been awake. But no sign of a gag or no sound of cries for help. WHY? Also while I can think of ways to take care of the ash problem ( like burn the wrapping inside a fire proof bag), I for now will let it go.

So again two major question which will be key when answered.
1) If no rope burns, no bandages, what prevented him from moving?
2) as it is not possible for him to have been asleep the whole time, why no cry?

As for putting him in a coma, again the drugs to do that would have been found, and while it might be possible to go coma from a overdose of sleeping pills, that seems unlikely as it might just as easy kill him.

I understand your point about how the victim couldn't cry for help and i'm afraid while writing the riddle i missed that point out, jeez i can't believe i missed something so simple, but kudos to you for pointing it out, this will teach me to make a more complete case. Also very intriguing idea about the ashes and the fire proof bag to prevent ashes, i assume the culprit takes of the wrapping and seals it in a bag with fire in it? If so then there shouldn't be any burn marks on the underside of the chair but i guess debating this does really doesn't matter now.

Why?
Because we have a winner who correctly deduced the whole trick

MDavid that was an impressive collection of events that is spot on, there's only a few details you missed out such as the culprit bringing in a hammer in the box of nails during the first visit, the watch starting working again as soon as the magnet was removed, During the second visit inside the metal box there was also a hammer and some more nails, the wounds in the buttocks were bigger because the victim struggled to escape by moving his body widening the gaps(but your idea of metal expanding is very clever, i might use that in a future riddle) and the 4 square marks were where the magnets were.

Thank you sstimson and kogorou for taking part and posting your own deductions

Here's a lay down of what happened in story form:
Conan now after hearing the facts of the case formed a theory of his own. The theory how the victim was held down by powerful magnets. The cassette tape and the wrist watch was some indication to show that some form of magnetism was used. Looking at the 4 square spots he formed the idea that that was the place where the magnets were, with the powerful magnetic force from the permanent magnet of neodymium he concluded that the countless number of iron nails held him down. The victim was probably fed sleeping pills which took about 30 minutes to take effect(it varies from person to person) so around 18:00 would be a good estimate time for when the trick was completed, and once the magnets would set up it would stop the watch from ticking. When the culprit came back at 12:57 after weakening the magnets for several minutes the watch started ticking again while it was still at 18:00 leading to the 5 hour time difference.

The fact that he also brought plastic boxes also supported the idea that he was bringing magnets as if it was a metal box there was no way he could of removed it. One of the ways to remove or weaken magnetism was to heat it up, the curie temperature of a neodymium magnet is around 320 degrees and a blowtorch can easily surpass that level of heat. Once it reached the point where it can't support its own weight it would drop into the metal box, there was 4 clangs heard from the neighbor which also supported this idea. He was careful not to let the magnets in the plastic boxes near each other otherwise he wouldn't be able to separate them easily and because neodymium magnets can be easily damaged.

Now if the culprit left it as it was it would look very suggestive if only nails were in the buttocks and burnt marks were found on the underside of the seat so to cover it up he burnt the victim's body and face, after all the police would be more concerned about a brunt face than a burnt wheelchair. He also applied the same idea with the nails to mask the nails in a sea of them to hide its purpose, this was what the metal sound the person next door heard. The sound of the scrunching which the woman next door heard was the water bottle which the culprit drank, constantly heating things for a few minutes can be hot so a drink would cool you down (the water bottle was the red herring).

If all this is true then the definitive evidence would lie in the iron nails in the buttocks, since they were magnetized by the neodymium magnets. If they would be tested for any traces of magnetism (above the natural levels) in the iron nail it would be irrefutable proof that magnets were used.

Conan finally satisfied with his idea pulled out his wristwatch, "click" the aiming board flung up. Carefully aiming Kogorou's neck he fired and proceeded with his double act with his unsuspecting partner.

Perhaps she was attempting corrupt the evidence that would reveal her brother/real culprit by adding her own/someone else's DNA to the bottle via the cap. As for how Conan knew, maybe he realized what she was up to or noticed her trembling.

Also, about the bottle/cap - I can't tell for sure from the pictures but maybe you were looking for someone to point out that Conan realized that the cap isn't the same as the original that went on the bottle because both the caps and the bottle in the pictures have the seal attached,  whereas obviously the true cap wouldn't have the seal attached since it's already on the bottle.

A man wakes to find himself on the side of a desert road with a throbbing bruise on his temple. He has no clothes, car, or possessions of any kind. He soon realizes he can't even recollect his own name, much less the events that led to his current situation. Struck with amnesia, he desperately looks around for some sort of clue and that's when he notices a tattoo on his left arm.

The tattoo has three rows of letters that read as follows:

Eb - Ob

wsn

SSIMS W

The mysteries to be solved:

Who is this man?

What happened to him?

What is the meaning of the tattoo?

The first gumshoe to post an answer containing the correct deductions to these three questions shall be crowned The Superior Syllogist !
