For the jap version I wanted to see the "*gata*" thing if the "ta" character was in Hiragana or Katakana.. and well to see a DC chap in Japanese 'cause I don't think I have seen so much :/

I think it was just a discussion in the spoiler box when the chinese was first out and there was the translation about lipstick and hair from a wig being found. People mostly brought up Yukiko or Fusae and it's been spread since throughout the place. Correct me if I'm wrong though .

I think Sonoko is just trolling xD.  I do that type of trolling all the time to my friends.  I think Sonoko is trolling because even though Sonoko is born to a rich family she never really flaunts her wealth or status.  She prefers to get driven around by Kogoro or walk around with Ran.  When she does use her money it's to bring Ran to places.  She knows Ran's independent as hell considering the fact she's surrounded by millionaire best friends and she doesn't want ANY money from them.


I think the neck thing has to do with Akai because Haibara wanted to look at his neck as well.  Though it IS possible that Haibara is checking if Okiya has a voice changer on...I'm curious to how having a voice changer on your shirt can change your voice. Conan has to put a voice changer in front of his mouth and speak through his bowtie in order for it to work.  It would be beneficial for Conan to just have something like that too...but he doesn't.


As for rat tail comb, I usually only see it at the hair dresser.  The pointy end is to pull the hair so you can cut the hair easier.  I have one personally because sometimes I cut my own hair : ).  

Edit:  I asked my friend how to say the last part better in english.  The rat tail comb is usually used to separate sections of the hair.
