This guy, from left panel at the guy's right side, has a small mole. It seems the characters has not introduce to avoid giveaway his beauty spot. Do anyone find this unusual when the case is turn away from on site investigation into Shinichi's old home?

I am surprised none of the characters mentioned how Conan seems to know where all of Shinichi/Yuusaku's old files are. Sera should really get all suspicious on him.

Well, he did tell Ran that he "told Conan the location of that photograph and asked him to get it," so it's possible that's meant to deter them from thinking strange things about how Conan knows where everything is in Shinichi's house.

The voice changer is a possibility for Okiya, although, like Chek, I was thinking it was something relevant to Akai.

Definitely thinking Yukiko isn't too far away, even though Gosho obviously wants us to think Okiya is  meeting with Vermouth or something. Or that Okiya is Vermouth.

The case seems to be a fairly interesting one, excited about that! Haven't made any thoughts on it just yet though.

Now that i think of it Yukiko might have had another fight with her husband or something, and she loves dressing up.  She has to have been dying to meet their new house guest anyway. Poor Okiya is on the prank list for sure.
So ladies on the forum do you leave scrunchies or hair ties on the top shelf in your kitchen? Mine just litter my bedroom and the master roll they all came from is in the bathroom.  My habit is to wear one on my wrist.  Should Sera really be giving off facts on how normal women behave anyway?

Have to say young Yuusaku on the title page sort of looks like has Takagi's bangs with that angle.

XD That's something I will do at home leaving scrunchies at some places. They are dead giveaway. I don't think it's Vermouth, as member she's not allowed to leave things behind if someone comes visit. Vermouth is paranoid to point of freak cleanliness as perfectionist.

I think there is too little information to make any deductions on WHAT exactly happened, but I have some observations,

1. The so-called "death" character. I'm in favor of it being accidental. Notice in the first case (10 year old one) there are some flowers near the bloody symbol? and in the current one there is an obvious cigarette nearby? I think that in the first one, the center of the character was covered with the flower and in the current one the center was covered with the cigarette. There is a space in that kanji (or japanese) where these items would fit in almost perfectly. To those who know the language here, what do we get if we fill out the space. Shown here,

The ... problem I have with my own "deduction" is WHY Kudo's father would withhold the info? I have no idea at the moment.

Notice how CLEAN the wash-basin is? No water flowing and no "spit" foam in there either. Something's funny, but I can't tell what.

Ran is the (young) representation of the typical japanese housewife, so it's not really surprising. I don't think you should apply your western feminist schemas on a japanese manga anyway.

another thing i noticed , wouldn't a person brushing his teeth lift his sleeves up as not to get them wet? okiya sleeves are all the way down on both this scene and the first bathroom scene.

It's to cover up his sleeve tattoos.

Seriously, though, Akai always wears long sleeves, too.

I don't think it's the case because Okiya brush teeth out of blue to have excuses not to talk. If Conan is first to reach, Okiya will leave plates alone because makeups and voice change needs a lot of time.

I find wet sleeves to be uncomfortable, so I roll my sleeves up if I'm wearing long sleeves while washing my hands or brushing my teeth, etc.
