End of Night 4…

She wasn’t supposed to be out alone at night, and she knew it. Especially since so many dangerous things had been going on lately. But it was because of those dangerous things that she was on a mission.

She heard gravel shift behind her and ducked behind a fallen trashcan, listening carefully. After a moment, a dog trotted around the corner of the convenience store, sniffing into the trash heap and wagging its tail. She smiled and crept out from behind the trash can, trying to step as quietly as she could as she followed the shadowman.

The person she was following had stopped into the convenience store and bought a candy bar, but hadn’t eaten it. She thought that was odd and had written it down in her notebook. Her stomach growled a little bit and she realized that she was hungry too. She thought that it wasn’t fair that a badguy had a candy bar and she didn’t.

She had seen the shadowman hanging around the taped-off area where those people had died yesterday. She had especially seen the shadowman talk to a police officer, who had seemed scared, and then had given the shadowman the plastic bag with the dead badguy’s broken cell phone in it. She had watched the shadowman put that important evidence in his pocket and walk away with it while the scared police officer ran back to his car and drove away. And now she was still following that shadowman, even though it was past supper time and her parents were probably worried about her.

The shadowman paused before turning a corner into a dark alleyway. The girl hesitated. Was it too dangerous? Maybe she should call for help…but what would the others say if she let the badguy get away?

That was unacceptable, she thought fiercely. If the police were scared, wasn’t it up to her now? Even if it was dangerous, she was going to do what she could to stop any more people from getting hurt. She looked both ways, then followed the shadowman into the alleyway, her shoes echoing on the pavement.

When she turned the corner, she found herself face-to-face with a gun. The shadowman’s eyes were scary. They were the eyes of somebody who would hurt her. But she knew something else too. She knew that her friends would catch the badguys even without her. So Parkur (Ayumi) faced the scary eyes with brave ones until the shadowman fired the gun…

Spoiler: The Short Version and Parkur’s Will

Parkur (Ayumi) died.

Lynz, Gio, and miiko are 100% town, give them your trust and protection

Ayumi-chan thinks Kleene is suspicious
