While that is true that it didn't do anything Bourbon wise, it doesn't exactly make the case crap.

True it was easier than usual, but there were some nice things done in this case. More interaction with both the "killer" and the victim since there was just two of them was nice to see, we haven't had that in a while. It was also interesting to see Conan not have to use any of his gadgets at all. There was no 'bad guy' in this case, it was just a misunderstanding...and that's actually pretty refreshing. I was a little disappointed there was absolutely nothing to add to the previous Akai references, but the fact that there was any is enough to be satisfied for me. Speaking of those references, it's REALLY awesome the way that they played out: that Conan has no idea about them. He wasn't there for Sera's chase, and he can't know what Ai is thinking. It also means that soon (as the Akai refs in this case were pretty monumental hints) there will be a true BO confrontation

We just gotta wait. And if the cases are as refreshing as this one was (especially considering it's a DB case which happens to denote the quality in some people's eyes) I won't mind waiting a little longer. After all, it's already been, what, 6 years since Okiya appeared? xD I think I can manage another few weeks  :P

To be honest, I didn't even THINK about Amuro Tooru being Bourbon. I thought it might've been Sera because she is recognized by the FBI, she knows who Akai is, and she is somehow suspicious with everything she does. I'm even questioning why she pretended to be a boy at first.

She actually didn't pretend to be a boy. Everyone just accidentally mistook her for one (well, the "my type" comment hasn't been explained yet, but I'm of the theory that she means "my type of opponent" or something else)
