she posed as a male to BO just like she did i magic lover's club
she hates akai coz he rejected her for akemi.
she has highly goos detective skills
she is secretive as gin and others think she comes in  meeting as a girl to protect "his" identity from the rest of BO(including kir)

she is smart and has found about conan-shinichi and ai=sherry
but she didn't tell about it to Gin because if ai is murdered ,then conan will die as well and the female legendary detective sonoko will not be able to appear again. so she protects their identity.

she has not told ran about conan because she knows that ran will murder conan after learning and thus ending the female legendary detective sonoko .

Well there're a lot of theories about who Sera is: Akai's sis, Haibara's another sis, Akemi, ... But I really like the first theory the most. I don't see anything related btw Sera and Ai :-s And if she's Ai's sister then I think the one who never laughed should be Shiho lol.

It seems "Don't make that face. ..." is a very Dai-ish (Akai-ish) statement. So if Ai just crossed the "He's not a monster" boundary just thanked to that statement then why she was soooo afraid of Akai (in the 3x vols?) just like he's a BO?

How does the names add some clue? Did Gosho use some of the storyline from Gundum?

How does the names add some clue? Did Gosho use some of the storyline from Gundum?

Gosho does theme naming, meaning that groups of characters are named after a particular series or theme. Lots of main characters like Conan, Kogoro, Ran, the DB, Agasa, etc are named after detectives. The suspects for a particular case also follow a theme. For people associated with Akai, the theme is Gundam characters.
Akai Shuuichi = Char Aznable (main bad guy in Gundam)
Andre Camel = Lieutenant Dren (Char's second in command)
Sera Masumi = Sayla Mass (Char's younger sister)
Amuro Tohru = Amuro Ray (main good guy in Gundam)

In Conan, the characters are always named after famous detectives.

When it was decided that (we) would introduce an FBI agent who would side with the protagonist, Conan,
I wanted to base the image of that astute investigator on Char.
That's why (I) decided on just the last name to be "Akai (red)" at first.
After that, when (I) pondered on what the first name should be, (I) decided it to be "Shuuichi" after you, Ikeda-san (laughs)
Since Conan's real name is "Shinichi," and "Shinichi" and "Shuuichi" sound similar,
(I) wouldn't normally pick (this name), but I thought that it would be okay, just this once.

池田「いやあ、光栄ですね。そして、ＴＶ版では声もやらせてもらってる訳ですから、

Ikeda: What an honor! Since I get to voice the TV-version as well,

the voice actor is more or less decided (laughs).

If SA is only 1 person in disguise then it should be Amuro or a 3rd party. If SA is 2 or many ppl in disguise, then...who knows
