It really surprises me that some people thought that Gosho was going to reveal Bourbon in this file, it would have made not sense at all.

Looks like the Sera/Ai story is starting, this will be interesting. If Amuro is Bourbon and Scar Akai, was he testing Sera? To see if she knew Akai? I don´t see why he would bring back Scar Akai if it wasn´t the case.

Another DB case right after something huge happens in the BO plot ... so Sera is definitely looking for Akai then ... but..

Back to the DB case...

If you are a child and see something bad happening you tell an adult, as Ai-chan does.  WWCD?  If Conan had gone to return the ringing cell phone that woman would have gotten a concussion from a 100 mph soccer ball.

So the plot of this case looks like, if its following standard thoroughfare ... deducing stuff without any translation is impossible ... but I enjoy wild speculation anyway =D
1) Man wants to kill his sister?? (they have the same family name, they are not wearing wedding rings, so I'm assuming they're related since they are roughly same age) (please correct me if I'm wrong about the relationship)
2) Invites witnesses over for murder (Agasa and DB) (shouldn't have included the mini-Holmes Conan!)
3) The brother & sister have an argument and leave to go talk?, and the brother purposely leaves cell phone with the witnesses
4) The brother as part of the trick calls the cell phone left behind so he can have a witness it was self-defense (maybe they were rehearsing a play (dressed up in halloween costume earlier) and she was not really going to stab him? Or maybe he gave her a fake knife and goaded her into acting that way, then stabbed her with a real knife he had hidden somewhere...)
5) When the witness runs for help, the brother kills his sister...

Somehow .... I think the camera Haibara brought along will be important to the case, as well as the pictures she has taken
If the camera also happens to have any weird/damaging pics in it I hope it doesn't get confiscated by the police =z

One more thing: why is Sera so annoyingly loud on cellphones!?

The new file is completely unexpected but not disappointed, though it begins with another day, saying nothing about bourbon. The new series may turns out to be the showdown between Sera and Ai. In this file, Sera expresses great interest in Ai. She Recognized Ai's voice on the phone, which suggests she knows well of Ai. Unfortunately, Sonoko becomes a prophecy and her words seem to verify Sera's suspicion of Ai.
Interestingly, Sera also understands Kudou's craze for Holmes, since long time before. Then I guess she met Kudou who was seeing his parents off, at the airport 3 years ago. Kudou must have impressed her by his deduction or sense of justice. But she didn't dress like a tomboy then, so now Kudou can't recognize her. What's more, I guess Sera moved to USA for Witness Protection Program as her brother was taking dangerous mission. That's why James recognized her and Akai and Sera shared different family names. And Yusaku became her guardian. 3 years ago, Mr and Mrs Kudou came to USA for that reason, or they wouldn't have left their minor single son alone.
Sera also mentioned she used to live with a person who never smiles and her biggest desire is to make that person happy. It sounds like she is talking about Akai, who doesn't have a bright personality.

When the DB appeared on the first page, 99,9% of Gosho's fans had an instant moment of rage. Nothing could stop them from doing something insane until Scar Akai appeared to help them chill a bit

Page 11: Amuro apparently is taking a day off from Poirot so the three girls part ways. Sera jokingly asks Ran to show show her photos of her boyfriend (i.e. Shinichi) the next time she visits.

Sonoko wonders why Sera is always so upbeat. Sera:"Well, it's because someone who used to be around me never laughed. So my goal is to make that person laugh."(Chinese TL specified "he" but to be safe

Short summary of the case: A couple invites DB to barbecue. Wife suspects Husband of cheating. Wife threatens to stab him. The DB finds Wife dead and Husband panting.

Everyone who is complaining about this file is crazy. Does Vermouth need to flash the readers before certain people are satisfied? I don't understand why people are so offended by the DB that they justify moaning about a file which also includes info on or appearances by nearly every single plot important character, and a major plot development on top of it. Haters gonna hate, but sometimes it becomes too retarded for anyone else to believe.

They talk quite a bit about the previous case's aftermath which is good, otherwise the gap between the last file and this one would have been jarring. I expected the jump though.

Sera pretty much confirms she knows Shinichi is Conan and is now trying to work on Haibara. Sonoko inadvertently helps. People looking for an excuse for them to clash now have one. Then we have Sera's person who never laughs. One guess who that is. Sera does blush when thinking about meeting Amuro; their Gundam chars were close after all. Somehow I don't think Akai would approve of that part of the conversation. It would be amazing though if Sera and Amuro did go on a date, even if they both were trying to only trying to use it to gain info.

I have no idea why Haibara would upgrade Okiya to "Subaru-kun". The only things he did was get into a car chase, almost draw a gun, and generally emit a scary aura. That must have been some really good cream stew.

But who would post to whine after only seeing the first page? I was "..." at first too, but then I saw Sera talking with Conan about Haibara and got interested, then Sera blushing about Amuro was unexpected, and then Scar Akai showing up made the file awesome.
