I just put my usb sticks into the washing machine with my jacket. 
*Goes to bang her head to the wall*

If you carefully dry it out, it should still work. Whenever my mom washes electronics, she puts them in a bag of dry rice. Apparently, it sucks the moisture out or something. Whatever it does, it seems to work. Except for gameboys, which you just need to leave lying around for half an hour. Can't break them with anything short of an act of God, and it has to be a pretty powerful God at that.

I can imagine.  I took kickboxing this past Spring at school, directly after P.E..  It was a really bad idea.

One thing I don't like about this time of year; daylight hours are so few and so overcast that it feels like evening all day. I feel so sleepy...

I have two weddings to attend today, one right after the other.  (Well, sort of. I'm going to leave the first and get home in time to leave for the second.)

Love you guys, but really?  Did you have to get married on the same day?!

Had seriously creepy nightmares last night that have left me pretty upset all day.

Spoiler: slightly personal rant about a real trigger of mine

I have this serious, deep fear of miscarriage. It is not something that I am willing to have joked about or taken lightly. The problem is that my mom miscarried her first child, so badly that she would've died if she wasn't taken to surgery so fast; my aunt miscarried her first child, so badly that my mom got on a plane fully expecting to arrive in time for her sister's funeral; and my grandma miscarried TWO children, her second and her fifth, the second miscarriage making it impossible for her to have any more kids. It's a very real fear for me, since I really want to have kids someday, and I'm not sure how I'd handle losing one like that. Even worse is that no two of the miscarriages were for the same reason. They all developed different complications, and in my mom's case it was due to an unrelated illness that got really bad. It's not a single congenital problem that I can prepare for or try to fix. My mom's side of the family just seems to carry a really bad luck streak when it comes to pregnancy health. As mentioned, I really want to have kids someday, and the prospect that this could be something that I'll have to face without knowing exactly how it'll come or even if it will for certain. Most things that have frightened me in the past, like spiders or heights, I've found ways to deal with (I'm not scared of either anymore), but this is a much deeper and more terrifying fear for me.

So my nightmare last night really, desperately upset me. My gut started hurting, worse than any cramps, and suddenly there was blood everywhere. I collapsed, I couldn't get up, I didn't seem to have legs anymore, there was so much blood that I was slipping on it when I tried to crawl, and all the time there was a baby crying, not just the way babies cry when they're hungry or bored but the cry of a baby that was in great pain or fear, and I couldn't find it or help it, which caused a pain in my chest so bad that I couldn't breathe. I thought I was going to suffocate, and I woke up crying and gasping for breath. It upset me so badly that, hours later, recounting it brings me to tears, and I've been having phantom chest and gut pains all day from the residual upset and anxiety.

I very, very rarely have dreams like this. But they upset me more than anything else, and it throws me off for the next few days.

I'm not terribly fond of children and I don't want any of my own, but that's still just an awful thing to dream, for anyone I imagine.  Worse, since it's your worst fear. D:
