Yesterday's bad story, because the forum had ISSUES with me yesterday (what is error 500 and why does it stalk me? >_>)

I got up at quarter to eight, had a panicked rush to get a shower and dressed and fed on time, managed to turn up to class a couple minutes early... and then just sat around for half an hour because the lecturer never turned up and never informed anybody. C'mon, people, that's what WebCT's FOR! It was even worse for the people coming in from Glasgow, because they generally have to leave the house at 6am to come in for the 9am lectures, so they wasted their time and money on nothing.

Yeah Guess that's an issue with all unis. We've had those before. For 8am lectures too. One guy rocked up at quarter to 9. The only reason we were still there was because we had another lecture at 9 in the same theatre.

Completely forgot to turn off my alarm last night, so I got woken at 7.45 this morning and had gotten up, dressed and fed before I realized that class was canceled today. Of course I couldn't get back to sleep, so I hung around watching anime for three hours before anybody else in the flat woke up.

My dad woke me up earlier around 8 AM (not a very good time to wake me up on any day), pointing out (like I wasn't the one who told him that in the first place) that registration for the spring semester started yesterday. (Well, I thought he said it ended yesterday at first... but that's beside the point.) He then proceeded to yell at me, telling me to get up so we could go in to schedule classes... except, at my college, freshmen have to schedule an appointment with and talk to their adviser before they can register... and dad knew this, yet he still continued to act as though I would get preferential treatment just because I had a lousy schedule this semester. I snapped at him, telling him to stop bothering me over something that couldn't be done no matter how much free time he had in his schedule and let me go back to sleep, and he started ranting about how I was staying up too late and that I now have to go to bed at midnight. (I'll go to bed at midnight when I have to wake up at 9 AM, not when I have to wake up at 11 AM, thank you very much.) Even worse, it took me a whole hour just to calm down enough to fall back asleep.

And seriously, if I could stand in line and schedule classes, I wouldn't have come home immediately after Trig ended yesterday--I would've been standing in that registration line. I know exactly which 3 classes and sections I want to take, after all.  -_-

I just need to get a Bag For Life, because the handles of BOTH of my shopping bags snapped on the way home today. Cheap plastic crap.

Thought I was feeling much better, but apparently I'm not. I for one do not take almost fainting in the shower as a good sign. Had to lie down on the bathroom floor for quite some time before the dots before my eyes and ringing in my ears disappeared. Though don't think it is because I'm sick, actually I think I'm fine. It's probably because I haven't eaten in three days. And two days before that I only ate one cup of instant soup and a piece of bread per day. As soon as I feel like I can stand again I'll try finding something to eat.

Because I've been sick and have lacked the energy to get food. Also, fevers make me dizzy.

D: Still, starving yourself really doesn't help. Do you have any friends living nearby you can call and say "can you do me a massive favour and come feed me"?
