Never really saw Sonoko involved.  She's super boy-crazy.  Always has been, always will be.

Now, Kazuha and Ran... we only have evidence of them each liking a SPECIFIC boy.  Which equals a SPECIFIC person.  They are not necessarily interested in others of the opposite gender.

Perhaps they will finally start dating the men of their dreams only to find out that it wasn't meant to be.  And then find solace in each other...

I'm surprised there are no screencaps from the films to support the Ran×Sonoko pairing... Which is less likely than ×Kazuha, but I still like it... Kazuha should just focus on her gay boyfriend.
But let me guess, manga original only?

The most recent subbed episode is a rather accurate portrayal of how people would act if they saw two men kissing (or two women kissing passionately).  So gay marriage is way out of the question in the current society.
