Curtains:  I have some that I bought at Walmart or Target or something like that.  They're just thicker than your average curtains.

I just remembered what I used to have over my windows to block out light: aluminum foil! I've always had very light sensitive eyes and have suffered from migraines since I was little. All I had to do was cover the window panes with aluminum foil and secure it with tape. The foil blocked out all light and was easy to use.

Hmm, I also had a similar problem, but I solved in another way. The problem is my window is going east, my bed is in the north-west corner of the room, and I like to sleep long. Due top this, the sun ends up shining directly onto the bed, which makes sleeping quite impossible. I did have a window blind, but as it was of a metallic silver, it didn't help much in keeping the room dark, so I replaced it with a dark blue one. However, this caused another problem - while light wasn't a concern anymore, temperature became one, because the window blind absorbed most of the light, heating the room to temperatures as high as 28°C (80-85°F), making me unable to sleep again. The solution I finally came up with consisted of the earlier silver window blind, in order to reflect the direct light and warmth, and a dark blue curtain behind it, absorbing most of the remaining light. It still gets warm in my room, but usually not beyond ~24°C (75°F).

However, considering Kaito Lady's problem is about artificial light, I doubt she'll have temperature issues...

Continuation of the problem with the light:

but i actually just passed out (was too tired after not sleeping for too long time)
but i think tonight might be a problem...and since i'm most probably not going to any store that
sells curtain soon.....

you know that it looks like it was 5 o'clock in the morning(summer time) at 11 o'clock in the night?!

Why glare? It's the truth, even better farther north, there it never goes down (in the summer that is :V in the winter it never goes up)
