here is an example. Last week on the bus, a guy turned around to me and asked if I would like to donate some money to charity. I can be very rude and mean to people, but in that case, I was on the bus and didn't want to bother with whatever crap he would have come up with if I said no, so I said yes.
Now to be clear, he didn't specify what kind of charity it was and most likely he was refering only to himself(he looked very poor). So I asked him how much should I spare? he said "as much as you can". Now, this is when I turned this good deed into a bad deed
. I searched though my bag with the coins making noises as they clashed each other. I take out a shekel (which is like a quater dollar) and I said "this is all I have."The look on his face was priceless! he looked so dissapointed and a shekel won't help him at all.
