Re: Question About Akemi's Message to Akai
I was also pointing out that as Gosho has in the past allow ps to be confessions of love, that maks it less likely for Akemi message to be of that type since Gosho in this case disallowed the Ps to be known
or Gosho by allowing a Love message has no reason to block that kind of message in a later chapter.

This sums up my thoughts on this subjectAICHAN wrote: for me,the PS would probably be"if something goes wrong, please try to protect my sister from them"
As I said before,it's just an extra precaution to protect her sister...Of course there was a risk that Akai would be killed,so what?he was already in danger and Akemi was desperate, what solution she had at that time?

If it's really "Please protect my sister..." or "I love you", then why did Gosho have to hide it anyway ?

Good question. One plausible answer is that is might be potentially spoilerific if Okiya is Akai and his goal is trying to protect Haibara.Black Demon wrote: If it's really "Please protect my sister..." or "I love you", then why did Gosho have to hide it anyway ?

I don't think it would be that much of a spoiler, because quite some time happens between then and when Okiya appears first. It also sounds as if she foresaw her death, which I don't think. Not that I can think of anything that makes sense.

If that is indeed what the PS said, I would say it's more of a red herring for suspense's sake than anything.

My opinion about Akai that he really like Akemi Miyano.
Somehow in his heart that he fail to protect her but promise himself that he'll protect her sister, Shiho.

My bet will be that it will be revealed when he met with Shiho Miyano and show it to her.

I happened to run into this topic and was like "hey, wait..."
Considering your last theories about the hidden "P.S.", like this one:
