Some random ideas:
Spoiler:
1. Had Eva been hypnotised in the past? The sound might have been the one that was supposed to make her fall asleep for example... Yes, I know it's a weird idea but no harm asking.
2. Does Eva's age matter?
3. Was Eva taking underwater photos?
4. Was Eva blind?
5. Was Eva dumb (I mean mute)?
6. Was Eva a criminal?
7. Did the alarm sound like a different kind of machine?

2. Does Eva's age matter? No
3. Was Eva taking underwater photos? No
4. Was Eva blind? YES! Getting near the truth here.
5. Was Eva dumb (I mean mute)? No
6. Was Eva a criminal? No
7. Did the alarm sound like a different kind of machine? No

Let us summarise.
Basically, a blind girl Eva was swimming when she heard an alarm clock of some fisherman - and she mistook the sound for something else. That didn't scare her but made her want to get out of the lake. Then she become unable to swim for some reason and drowned.
Am I right so far?

Ummm uh.

Eva is blind. She heard a sound in the lake and then drowned. The sound was something like maybe what someone else used to tell her to get out of the water or when she nears something dangerous? She maybe used to hear it from one of those lifeguard people maybe. So she heard the sound and then got into trouble and drowned.

Btw, was the sound kinda like a whistle or a bell or a doorbell? xD

But we know already that:
a) she wasn't frightened by the sound.
b) the sound was not like a human shouting.

That's completely right.

The alarm clock's sound wasnt like a doorbell or whistle, no. And not like something  someone  else  would use to tell her something. (I mean, it's not like she's a dog...)

Not sure if I haven't already asked some of those, but I don't want to go searching now ;)
Spoiler:
1. Did Eva think the sound was coming from the land?

2. Did the sound make Eva want to get out of the lake in order to get on the land?
3. Did the sound make Eva want to get out of the lake in order to not be in the lake any longer?
(Sounds weird but I think you know what I mean?)

4. Was there any specific reason why the fisherman would set an alarm sound like that?

5. Did the alarm sound like an animal?
6. Did the alarm sound like a natural occurrence?

7. Did the alarm sound make Eva curious?
8. Did the alarm sound make Eva happy?
9. Did the alarm sound make Eva excited?

10. Did Eva become unable to swim because of an injury?
11. Did Eva become unable to swim because of an exhaustion?
12. Did Eva become unable to swim because something constrained her movements?
I'm waiting for deductions... Come on, guys, send me some of your thoughts! Even if you get it wrong, you have three tries in total! Your first deductions don't even have to be complete, I just want to know how you get to it. I may even correct some of your mistakes. Give it a shot. The deadline is this Sunday, though I may postpone it a little bit - because you send me nothing! :(

I'm waiting :)
Spoiler:
1. Did Eva try to get to the land but swam into the wrong direction (to the boat where the sound came from)?
2. Did the sound make Eva sad?
3. Did the sound remind Eva of something?
4. Did the sound make Eva feel obliged to do something?

2. Did the sound make Eva sad? No
3. Did the sound remind Eva of something? Sort of
4. Did the sound make Eva feel obliged to do something? Hm, yes (But i think this answer will get you even deeper into the confusion about what the sound is)

Spoiler:
Then Eva was swimming near the shore and set alarm to show in which direction is the shore when it is time to return.
But on the boat in the lake someone also set an alarm (for example was sleeping and wanted to wake up at exact time).
Eva heard alarm that was in the boat and swam in that direction further into the lake and she was out of strength and drown before she could reach other shore.

My idea exactly. Though Giogio's answers make it look like it's necessary to know what exactly the sound was...

Yes, that is the solution! Great, detectives!
Spoiler:
I'm sorry about the confusion about what the alarm sounded like... To the question "did she mistake the sound of the fishermans alarm clock for something else" I had definitely to say Yes, well knowing that this does not sound like "she mistakes it for her own alarm clock" (-;
eworm, i just did send you my deduction to BFR4.
