Hi hi, this my first post, actually because I registered for having been so compelled to declare myself an Ai fan. Yes, Haibara Ai, she's so lovely with her evil yawny eyes ^.^

Anyway, just a thought to share with everyone. Do u all think that Ai is the most intelligent character in the series? By intelligent, I don't mean astute deduction otherwise there's little to discuss beyond Kudo/Conan and Yusaku. I mean general intelligence, and she's shown that in many ways I think. Her deduction ability is probably just a cut or two below Kudo, most times she follows Conan well and makes similar observations. She's obviously a scientific genious, no arguments there. And probably the one trait she's displayed better than the teenage detectives is her observation of people, namely because I think she has slightly higher EQ than Kudo, surprising when she's never grown up in a sociable environment. That's why I love her, awesome in every sense ^.^ she brings out the Lolicon in me (probably not a good thing)

In most occasions Conan has shown to have a more general knowledge so I'm not sure, but I'm sure there are people smarter than them in the series....somewhere.

on topic:yeah Ai is very intelligent...she's a genius since she is a scientist at 18...
Also she proved she can solve a case,well she's not as fast as Conan,but she can solve cases...and she can make codes...
I still don't think she's more intelligent than Conan or Heiji...she's in the same level as them, but in a different field...

anyway,Haibara has many qualities(besides her intelligence) which make her a really good character...
