Damn, there goes the first post on the page I hoped would be for my BFR#4.
Well it seems this Ankor's one is quite brain-frying too.
And, sstimson, you used 3 and 1 two times each.
we got 1 3 4  and 6. look at it like this with just 1 3 4 can you get 4?
I already proved you can't.
For me it seems unsolvable with just + - * and /.

1-(3/4)=1/4or (1-3)/4=-2/4=-1/2, 1+3/4or = 4, 1/3/4=4/3, 1*3/4=3/4

first line bolded here

Well it still doesn't answer anything...
No seriously, is getting a 24 even possible on these conditions?

well if you got a 1/4 how hard is to use the remain 6 to make that a 24
after all 1/(4*6) = 1/24 right
also 1/4/6 = 1/24 right all you need is to invert it

So you're saying that (4 * 6)/1 is 24. The same goes for 4 * 6 * 1 but that's no answer if you don't use 3.

Very nice, sstimson.

6 / (1 - 3/4) = 24.

Whoa, that's true. Awesome, sstimson, simply awesome.
With a riddle like this we don't really need confirmation from Ankor, so go ahead and post a short riddle.
Short one, okay?
I'd like my Brain-Frying Riddle #4 to appear in the 1000th post of this thread. Feel it?

Kidding Riddle.
Will Eworms next riddle be post 1000?

Real riddle back to my debate(?) with eworm about the above riddle about the person who killed them self.

It is simple. If possible find evidences that indeed it was murder not suicide. Use common knowledge, Answers given. and the Riddle. Answer the questions I asked. Think of it this way. We are warming up for Eworms's one

AbEgho wrote: Person A was blind; he went to person B, who was a surgeon; B operated on A, and it was a successful surgery. A went back on a train, the next morning, and as soon as the train went inside the tunnel, he thought that he had lost his sight again and commited suicide.
So it's this what we have to analyse?

But is there any "answer" to this? I mean with a bit of imagination we can create 1001 theories how A was killed.

But I asked for evidence. And beside I give a possible murder method. your job detectives is to either prove it or find out how you think it happened. And give your evidence. I think it was murder.

Why.

One major reason: It is too much a jump to kill your self for being blind if you been blind most if not all your life.

Now lets hear your deductions. Give your evidence and explain why it was suicide or murder. Like I said earlier, too many that is really murder. Think of it this way. You are reading the newspaper report. But can you prove it?

by the way if we can we end the game at message 999
