Sstimson Riddle Answer
Right I do realizes you really do need to change two phases

Next the answer to this riddle is like the two guys are a crossroad or the Truetellers vs liars

First the Game of I am right and it is me that has the cure does not work as you could never know who telling the truth or lying.

So it would be nice to have as a phase the other said "this" in it. That means one phase should say something like this

Vial A has this statement on it "Vial 'B' says 'I am lying".

That statement is completely provable, so that should be one of the phases.

Remember you stated with these phases:

Phase #1 - A=Lying or Vial "B" statement that 'Vial A is Lying'
Phase #2 - B=Lying or Vial "A" statement that 'Vial B is Lying'
Phase #3 - A=Cure or Vial "B" statement that 'Vial A is the antidote'
Phase #4 - A=Cure or Vial "A" statement that 'Vial A is the antidote'

So change Phase #1 to the above statement and so far we have this:

Phase #1 - A=Lying or Vial "B" statement that 'Vial A is Lying'
Phase #2 - B=Said to lying or Vial "A" statement that 'Vial 'B' says 'I am lying'
Phase #3 - A=Cure or Vial "B" statement that 'Vial A is the antidote'
Phase #4 - A=Cure or Vial "A" statement that 'Vial A is the antidote'

That shows we now know with out question that statement #2 is True
The next question becomes is it telling the complete truth or not meaning that B would only be telling the truth is the second statement of A is a lie.

Remember this puzzle:
The Bad, Vial trying to kill you would point to the wrong one (the poison), and Good one would point to the Cure, or to put it another way say Vial B if Good would say I am the Antidote if it is; Vial B if Bad would say I am the Antidote if it is the poison But if B was the Poison then their statements are like this
Bad  B (liar) I am the Antidote
Good B (true) I am the Antidote

Note that B says the same thing either way.

But if you asked A what B would say You get this
Bad  A point to the poison (B)(lying) says "B would say it is the poison" as we have already seen B would say it was the Antidote
Good A Point to the Antidote (A)(true) says "B would say it is the Antidote" ' See above '
and so knowing what the other would say points us into the right driection
So the other phase should say something like this: Statement on 'A' says that "B says I am the antidote"

And make our phases look like this:

Phase #1 - A=Lying or Vial "B" statement that 'Vial A is Lying'
Phase #2 - B=Said to be lying or Vial "A" statement that 'Vial 'B' says 'I am lying'
Phase #3 - A=Cure or Vial "B" statement that 'Vial A is the antidote'
Phase #4 - A=Said to be the Cure or Vial "A" statement that 'B says I am the antidote'

That gives us this on the Vials

Vial A - Vial B says I am lying and It is the Antidote
Vial B - Vail A is Lying. I am the Cure.

If both A and B are True
Not possible since both statements of A are true and B says A is lying ( A is telling complete Truth)

If both A and B are False
Not possible since both statements of A are true

Only A is lying
Not possible since both statements of A are true

Only B is lying -This is the one we must use

We already looked at A statements, now lets look at B's

A is Lying - We know this is a lie since both statement of A are True
A is the Antidote - Here it would be nice to hear this statement because then we could tell if A was being Sarcastic or not.
If A was saying that "B says I am the antidote" sarcastically then it is clear that A would be the Antidote
likewise if A was saying clearly "B says I am the antidote" then A would indeed be the antidote

But since we can not hear it, we must look at the words A uses. As written we can be almost sure that A was telling the truth when it said it was the Antidote and Drink A.

Next please examine the above and tell me where if anywhere I made a mistake in my logic

So the answer is this:

Change phase #2 to say -  Vial 'B' says 'I am lying

and

Change phase #4 to say - Vial 'B' says I am the antidote

@sstimson: So is the rule of changing to caluses still applies?? or have they already been changed, and the riddle is now to be solved like this intact?

I'm so excited, I think this is the first time I've visited and the riddle hadn't ended!
No. But keep those Yes/No question coming, they'll help.

Its an alphabet thing Jack comes first before Jill
No. You could've still asked me: "Is it an alphabet thing?", it's much more methodical

No. It'd be much simpler if you asked, "Do they race with cars?" and no.

Folks, no one is gonna answer this just by pure guessing; start directing simple Yes/No questions, and make sure such question serve their informative purpose. Meaning, the Yes/No question would give you more background information to the riddle (I hate giving straight up hints!)

Okay, then, here are some things that crossed my mind:
Spoiler: Questions/Answers?
a) Does one of them have any health problem - with a leg maybe?
b) Does Jack cheat during races?
c) Do they race in a racing video-game?
d) Does Jack know some tricks about exercising, like a certain way of breathing or something?
e) Does their racing track lead through a place Jill is afraid of? Like a dark cave or some high places Jill is bad with?
f) Does Jill allow Jack to win for some reason?
That's it for now.

CurryOtakuMysteryOtaku, Jill can't be "her", since their identical twins ;) BTW welcome aboard our thread. Kinda late, ain't I. Same goes to Shuusgirl and Wolf421. And I'm not sure if I ever welcomed AbEgho, so just in case I welcome him too.

Okay, here are some questions:
Spoiler:
1) Are Jack and Jill human?
2) Is the race a running race?
3) Is the race a swimming race?
4) Is the race one in which some tool or object is required?
5) Is the race a competition where Jack and Jill start at a designated point, begin moving towards a goal at the same time, and the first one to that goal is considered the winner?
6) Is the distance between the start and the finish a physical distance?
7) Would it change the riddle significantly if the twins were called Sam and Mary as compared to Jack and Jill?
8) Would it change the riddle significantly if it were said that "Jack always finishes ahead of Jill" as compared to "Jack always wins over Jill"?

Does this riddle have to do with day and night?

P.S. Jack is a weird girl's name, and Jill is a weird guy's name, if they both have to be the same gender.
