Hm. So, there's a player who's withdrawing from the game tonight (remaining unnamed so people don't get in contact with them before phase change or somethin), and I forget exactly how this was handled the last time it happened (as I'm pretty sure it has before but I forget when).
Should they just be arrested(like inactive players) and have it announced they're leaving or should they die and have their role revealed? I just don't wanna do it one way and then have people be like "it shoulda been done the other way!" and have me get bricked :V

While I GMed I had them "escaping" which was pretty much the same as being dead. I had their role revealed and not arrested.
Though, my game was a while ago. But to me it seems to be the better choice. (Just make sure to not allow them to make any wills or something like that and that no one abuses this. "Leaving the game" to get their role confirmed in the process sounds like a very unfair maneuver that goes against the spirit of the game.

yes, that's why I'm not giving out the person's name
but anyway, I was leaning towards killing them as well, so looks like that's what other people think as well.
